I???ve cleaned about 150 so far and they show no signs of wearing out

I had mine for a couple of years before I changed it. I had the record doctor sitting out without anything covering it so it got dusty and dirty. It really just depends on how much it gets used. Basically change it when it gets dirty. Not a great answer but it just depends.
