Great space-saving design, terrible sub

I bought this because I didn't want to give up much cargo space in my Bronco. The space-saving design is great, but the SSV Works sub itself is pretty bad. The sub bottomed out at much less than its rated power, and as you would expect, sounded terrible every time it did. At first I thought it was clipping, but it was doing it even at lower volumes and after double checking my gains, I'm pretty sure it's the sub itself. I had a JL Audio CS110TG-TW3 in my last Bronco, and even though it was rated for less power, it hit harder and had zero issues bottoming out at the same power levels. I love the design of the SSV enclosure, so if I had to do it again I'd probably by the enclosure unloaded and choose my own sub.

Pros: Space-saving design keeps it out of the way and maintains cargo volume

Cons: Poor quality sub bottoms out at lower than rated power levels, causing distortion and noise
