Want more bass in your 2018-up Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL? These custom-molded subwoofer enclosures from SSV Works give you three ways to add more bump to your Jeep's bottom-end sound. They mount to the factory bolt points on the driver's side of the cargo area, so installation is easy — no cutting and no hassles. You can go for an unloaded enclosure, or choose one with that's loaded with an SSV Works or Kicker subwoofer.

Three options available

Choose the package that's right for you and your Wrangler Unlimited:

Unloaded: Choose your own 10” subwoofer!

With SSV Works sub: This sub produces impressive volume and clarity, plus it's tough enough for life on the trail. Power specs: 300 watts RMS (600 peak)

With Kicker sub: This weatherproof sub can handle plenty of power, and can take a real pounding. Power specs: 400 watts RMS (800 peak)

Rugged and durable

Made from rugged, durable fiberglass, these custom-fit enclosures are finished in a black, textured coating that blends right into your 4-door Jeep's interior. They're paintable too, so you can customize them to suit your style. A reinforced metal plate protects them from loose objects in the cargo area, so they'll stand up to hard use.

Installation Note: You'll have to drill screw holes to install subs in this enclosure, and you'll need to wire up your subs to the enclosure's terminals.

Features

Overview: The JJL-DS10 is a 0.7 ft³ fiberglass enclosure, with an SSV-10M 10" subwoofer installed, designed to fit select Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL models. Please enter your vehicle information to confirm compatibility.

Installation: The enclosure is installed in the rear cargo area, along the side wall on the driver's side. The mounting brackets are attached to three existing bolts, so no modification to the Jeep is necessary.

Attached Speaker Wire: Outside the enclosure is an attached 16" input wire, terminated by a proprietary connector that directly plugs into SSV Works sound system components. If the enclosure will not be plugged into an SSV Works component, cut off the terminal and splice the two pair of speaker wires to the wire from your amp (red positive/black negative).

Tools Required: The following tools are needed for installation:

Phillips head screw driver
T-30 Torx driver
T-50 Torx driver
Ratchet and 18mm deep socket

I tried it in the back of a four-door. I can honestly tell you this sub and enclosure sounds like garbage even when paired with a good amp
