Features
HDMI Extender Over Cat6: This HDMI Extender Over Cat6 (CS-HDC6EXT4K) includes a transmitter unit (TX) and a receiver unit (RX) working as a pair, along with an IR emitter and IR receiver. It allows for transmission and extension of an uncompressed 4K/30Hz HDMI video signal via CAT6 network cable up to 131' (40 meters) or a 1080p/60Hz HDMI video signal up to 230' (70 meters) with zero latency.
Note: You can also use a CAT5E cable, but it will limit 4K/30Hz HDMI video transmission to 115' (35 meters) and 1080p HDMI video transmission to 197' (60 meters).
HDMI 1.4: The HDMI Extender over Cat6 (CS-HDC6EXT4K) is equipped with HDMI 1.4 jacks that are HDCP 1.4 compatible. There is a HDMI 1.4 input and output on the transmitter, as well as a HDMI 1.4 output on the receiver that support up to 10.2Gbps transmission.
- Supported Video Resolutions: These HDMI 1.4 jacks support 4K@30Hz, 1080p/i@50/60Hz, 720p@50/60Hz, and 480i/p@60Hz.
- Supported Audio Formats: In addition to video, the CS-HDC6EXT4K also supports multichannel audio including Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, and DTS-HD, as well as 2ch to 7.1ch PCM.
Note: Because the CS-HDC6EXT4K is only HDCP 1.4 compatible (and not HDCP 2.2 compatible), it does not support copyrighted 4K video content.
EDID (Extended Display Identification): The EDID 2-way dip switch is used for selecting Extended Display Identification. Switch to the right position and the extender will copy the transmitter's HDMI loop out display EDID information to signal source. Switch to the left position and the extender will copy the receiver's display EDID to signal source.
PoE (Power-Over-Ethernet): The CS-HDC6EXT4K supports PoE (Power Over Ethernet) to power the receiver, so you only need to connect the included power supply to the transmitter. Each unit will power up, as the receiver unit is powered by the transmitter unit through the connected Ethernet cable.
IR Emitter & Receiver: This HDMI extender supports one-way IR signal transmission for remote control of your source devices. It comes with an IR emitter and IR receiver. It supports 20-60kHz wide frequency IR remote controls.
The Ethereal CS-HDC6EXT4K HDMI Extender replaces these items:
- includes one transmitter unit and one receiver unit
- 164-foot max. range with 1080p signals
- supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)
