Review: Ethereal Helios Subwoofer Cable

I was looking for a quality, budget-friendly cable for my subwoofers, and the Ethereal Helios Subwoofer Cable seemed like a solid choice. For the price, it delivers good performance and feels decently built. That said, I did run into one issue: the connection was a bit loose when plugged into both my subwoofer and AVR. At first, I thought it might just be a faulty cable, so I went to the local big box store to grab a different one-but had the exact same issue. Rather than returning it again, I lightly crimped the connector with a pair of pliers, and that snugged it up nicely. After that, the connection was solid and stable. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable cable that gets the job done, this one works. Just be aware that the fit might be a little loose depending on your equipment, but it's something that can be easily fixed. Pros: Inexpensive Good performance for the price Decent build quality Cons: Loose connector fit (fixable with a crimp)

I took an older sub and added it to a secondary 2.0 system to make a 2.1. This cable was perfect for a no frills value added cable. Pleased!

Good subwoofer cable

Really good subwoofer cables. Good quality works great and improves the signal tremendously. You wouldn't think so for just an RCA cable but they do make a difference just like good speaker wire

Pick this brand

I needed a shorter sub cable for living room setup. Chose ethereal helios instead of an svs sub cable. Sounds just as good as my old svs cable which was more expensive. good quality and is nice looking.

Smart buy

These cables are great, I'm not sure about the price but the product is great. Love the connection ends and the cable shield is of good quilt y and looks good too. The length give me plenty of flexibility and the cable has smooth flex to make turns without binding . Get em you won't be sorry

Nice longer cable.

Seems to be a quality cable, nicely constructed with a tough outer jacket. Sound quality is good. Being a retired utility electrician, I would like to see the interior conductors.

After unpacking the cable I noticed the plugs on each end looked cheap. I decided anyway to run the cable to the receiver and the subwoofer. I installed the plug in the receiver and then installed in the subwoofer. I found that after fishing the cable under the carpet the subwoofer end had broken off . This cable is not high quality! Do not try to run this cable under anything!
