Roswell's R1 Series tower speakers don't just look tough, they are tough — with a brushed anodized finish that stands up to the elements. Housed in each weather-sealed enclosure is a durable 8" woofer and 1" silk dome tweeter mounted in a smart-looking grille. Roswell conceals a 2-way crossover network in each speaker for absolute clarity.

Handling up to 100 watts RMS, these tower speakers cut through the crash of your wake, the whip of the wind, and the thunder of your motor, serving up vibrant, detailed audio for the gang on the boat and the hot-dogger you're pulling. Roswell's swiveling clamp system is easy to install and lets you rotate the speakers to suit your situation.

Features

Enclosure & Drivers: The Roswell R1 8" Tower Speakers feature a coaxially mounted 8" woofer, with a polypropylene cone and rubber surround, and a coaxially mounted 1" silk dome tweeter. A 12dB/oct. crossover is integrated into each driver for water-tight integrity. Both drivers are housed in a durable anodized aluminum enclosure with a Centrex plastic grille, designed to withstand the harsh marine environment.

Marine Tested: The R1 Series marine speakers are tested using ASTM standards, 500 hours UV exposure and 500 hours salt fog spray.

LEDs: The R1 8" Tower Speakers include built-in RGB LEDs in the back of the tweeter casing, to create a glow on the woofer cone, as well as along each side of the enclosures. Depending on what combination of LED wires is connected, they can light red, green, blue, yellow, magenta, cyan, or white. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on. The LEDs can also be controlled using Roswell's RGB Remote Control (sold separately).

Wire Terminal: Each tower speaker includes a 30" 6-pin wiring harness that hold both the signal wires and LED power wires. The harnesses include a water tight Deutsch plug, for connecting to the tower speaker, with bare-ended 18 ga. wire on the other end. Both harnesses are encased in a heavy-duty rubber sheath for added protection.

Mounting: The R1 8" Tower Speakers include an attached machine-billet, 360˚ Universal Clamp for attaching the speakers to wakeboard towers and rails. Three sets of clamp inserts are provided for attaching to 1.90", 2.375", and 3.0" diameter tubing.

Klippel Verified: The Klippel distortion analyzer, a device that uses a laser and sophisticated software to do large-scale analysis of drivers in motion, lets Roswell optimize the speaker's motor structure, voice coil alignment, and suspension to yield the best possible performance.
