An adjustable digital lens allows it to project images to fit screens from 90" to 130" (sold separately) for a riveting home theater experience. And it comes with all the conveniences of a modern smart TV — including a built-in Dolby Atmos® sound system.
Color that's true to life
This projector produces eye-catching clarity and color thanks to its powerful, precise TriChroma light engine, which features a trio of lasers. These pure red, blue, and green lasers work together to produce over a billion rich colors.
4K enhanced by HDR
The PX1-PRO's pixel-shifting DLP projection technology delivers razor-sharp detail, letting you take advantage of the range of 4K content now available on streaming services like Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. If you want to up your game further, connecting a 4K Blu-ray player is the way to go. Standard- and high-definition content gets a boost too with 4K upscaling, so you can benefit from enhanced image quality no matter the source.
If 4K wasn't crisp enough, the PX1-PRO supports HDR10 and HLG High Dynamic Range (HDR), bringing out additional detail and contrast when viewing HDR-encoded programs.
Simple setup
The projector's ultra short throw design saves you the trouble of mounting it on the ceiling or running cables across your room. It's easy to fit into most rooms — just place the projector on a low table right under your screen and you're on your way.
The PX1-PRO also makes dialing in your focus easy, with built-in controls on the remote. No need to walk up to the projector to adjust a focus wheel: you can adjust image focus from the comfort of your couch.

Award-winning TriChroma laser technology delivers over a billion rich colors.
Built-in speakers and TV tuner
Many projectors require a separate audio system even for just casual TV-watching because their audio capabilities are so limited. This Hisense projector includes a built-in audio system with Dolby® decoding, a pair of full-range speakers, and 30 watts of amplification. The projector even has an HDTV tuner for over-the-air and cable broadcasts.
If you want to expand your sound system, though, Hisense has you covered. The projector is WiSA-ready, letting you pair up a compatible wireless surround system to fill your room with sound. Or connect its optical digital output to a home theater receiver. In between shows and movies, you can even connect a mobile device to your projector with built-in Bluetooth® and rock out to some tunes.
Connections aplenty
The PX1-PRO has two HDMI ports for connecting a Blu-ray player, gaming console, or home theater receiver. HDMI port 2 is compatible with enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), letting you pass immersive audio formats like Dolby Atmos®.
There are also two USB Type-A ports: the rear port provides power to HDMI dongles or other devices, and both the rear and side ports let you plug in flash drives or USB hard drives loaded with music or videos.
Easy to use with voice control
The projector's built-in Android TV interface lets you browse streaming services and download new apps from the Google Play store without connecting another source. With built-in Chromecast you can stream video or music to the projector or even mirror your mobile device onto your large screen. The included remote also has a mic with built-in Google Assistant, letting you control the projector and use streaming services with just the sound of your voice. If you use an Alexa device, it's compatible with that too.
If you're a movie afficionado, the PX1-PRO supports Filmmaker Mode, helping you experience your favorites the way their creators intended. For video game fans, Game Mode keeps input lag down to a minimum to ensure your controls feel smooth and responsive. Ultra Short Throw Projector & Screen
TriChroma Laser Light Technology: The Hisense PX1-PRO ultra short throw laser projector features the award-winning TriChroma laser engine to achieve full coverage of the BT.2020 color space for a true-to-life picture with color, brightness and contrast like never before seen. The Hisense PX1-PRO utilizes TriChroma laser light technology, featuring 3 pure-color lasers, that displays a cinema-like picture full of rich and vibrant colors. The RGB triple color Laser light source generates the three colored parts of a picture in parallel, generating improved color representation and brightness uniformity. Laser light technology also provides up to 25,000 hours of entertainment without an loss of performance.
- Wide Color Gamut: The PX1-PRO uses pure red, green, and blue lasers to achieve new levels of color performance, reaching 107% of the BT.2020 color space with 1 Billion colors. The enhanced spectrum of colors show images that are true-to-life with precision detail and natural colors.
- High Brightness & Dynamic Contrast: The Hisense PX1-PRO ultra short throw laser projector produces 2200 lumens of brightness and offers a 1,000:000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for a brilliant HDR (High Dynamic Range) video image with detailed highlights, vibrant colors, and bold blacks - making everything pop off the screen.
Note: To protect your eyes, proximity sensors dim the lasers when something gets too close.
Ultra Short Throw Design with Digital Lens Focus: The Hisense PX1-PRO is an ultra short throw laser projector that utilizes digital lens focus to project images from 90" to 130" with razor-sharp focus for maximum viewing immersion. The PX1-PRO can project these image sizes from just a few inches away from the wall and screen, thanks to its 0.25:1 throw ratio. The digital lens focus allows you to adjust the projector's focus conveniently from the included remote control (there is no manual focus wheel).
- The projector should be positioned so that it is parallel with the screen surface (it does not offer Lens Shift or Keystone Correction)
- It s recommended that the distance from the rear-panel of the projector to the screen or wall be 8.125".
- You should also leave 8.0" clearance around the sides of the projector and 6" of clearance around the back of the projector.
4K Ultra HD via XPR Pixel-Shift Technology: The Hisense PX1-PRO ultra short throw projector utilizes DLP XPR Technology (Texas Instruments' pixel-shifting technology) to achieve 4K resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels. XPR Technology perfectly quadruples the projector's 0.47" DMD chip's 1920x1080 pixels to generate 8.3 million pixels with ultra-fast pixel shifting speed for 4K content. 4K Ultra HD has 4x more detail than Full HD 1080p.
Note: The Hisense PX1-PRO has a native resolution of 1080p, but can accept a 4K video signal and display a 4K video signal through XPR Pixel-Shift technology.
HDMI 2.1: The Hisense PX1-PRO is outfitted with two HDMI 2.1 inputs to connect your Ultra-HD and HD sources; such as your Blu-ray player, satellite/cable box, and/or game system. In addition, any HDMI input can be used to connect a PC to the Laser TV.
- Supported Video Resolutions: Both HDMI inputs will accept up to 4K @ 24/30/60/120Hz.
- HDCP 2.2: HDCP 2.2 is supported by all of the TV's HDMI inputs. HDCP 2.2 is short for "High bandwidth Digital Content Protection" and is used for 4K video copyright protection for compatibility with Ultra HD Blu-ray players and 4K Satellite/Cable providers.
- 4:4:4 Color Subsampling: Both HDMI inputs will support up to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for full color data rendering of 4K video (4:2:2 and 4:2:0 are also supported by all HDMI inputs). With 4:4:4 color, luminance (brightness) and chroma (color) are sampled at the same rate, resulting in an RGB color palette as big as the video sampling rate for a video image with more total colors, plus greater color accuracy and detail.
Note: The projector does not contain any analog video inputs.
HDR (High Dynamic Range): The PX1-PRO ultra short throw laser projector offers the ability to provide a premium High Dynamic Range (HDR) experience, with a higher level of contrast between light and dark images. HDR delivers a much higher level of contrast between light and dark to produce an image that is more realistic and closer to what the content creator imagined. This increased contrast reveals the subtle nuances of the image, from detailed blacks and shadows to the brightest whites and colors, plus greater depth.
- HDR 10: HDR 10 is an open standard and currently the most popular HDR format on the market. It uses static metadata at the start of a movie to tell the preamplifier/processor and your TV that the video content is encoded using HDR.
- Dolby Vision (Firmware Updating Coming Summer 2022): Unlike HDR 10 which contains static metadata, Dolby Vision uses dynamic metadata technology which sets individual color and brightness levels for each and every scene. Dolby works directly with filmmakers at major Hollywood studios to create superior HDR video masters of blockbuster movies.
Note: The PX1-PRO does not support HDR 10+ or HLG.
MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation): With microsecond level-processor response and MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology the PX1-PRO ultra short throw projector ensures you never miss a moment of the action. Fast moving video images from sports, games and action films are exceptionally smooth and crystal clear. The projector's native refresh rate is 60Hz.
Picture Modes: The Hisense ultra short throw laser projector offers a number of preset pictures modes (such as Filmmaker and Game) to suit a variety of applications and content. You can also manually adjust picture settings such as Contrast, Brightness, Color, Tint, Sharpness, Noise Reduction, White Balance, Color Space, and Gamma. Picture modes and settings can be applied to an individual source or all sources.
- Filmmaker Mode: Filmmaker Mode disables any motion processing adjustments from the projector settings to ensure you’re seeing content exactly the way the moviemakers intended. Filmmaker Mode automatically adjusts picture settings to get content looking the way the movie-makers intended, reserving the director's creative intent to provide a more cinematic experience.
- Game Mode with ALLM: You can enable Game Mode to optimize the projector's settings for playing video games with a gaming console. Game Mode bypasses and disables some of the projector's video processing to allow for faster video gaming response time. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) detects when a gaming console is the active source and automatically adjusts projector settings to optimize game performance.
Built-in HDTV Tuner: The projector features a built-in over-the-air HDTV (ATSC) and Clear QAM tuner, so you don't need a separate set-top box to receive and decode over-the-air HDTV/SDTV or unencrypted Digital Cable signals (up to 1080i); subscription still required to receive cable channels. A single RF-type coaxial input is use to connect an external indoor/outdoor antenna (sold separately).
30W Speaker System: With a built-in 30 watt speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD and Dolby Digital, the Hisense PX1-PRO ultra short throw projector delivers an expansive and immerse soundstage with clear dialog, crisp highs, and deep bass.
eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel): The Enhanced Audio Return Channel within the projector's HDMI 1 input enables the projector, via a single HDMI cable, to send audio data "upstream" to an AV receiver; increasing user flexibility and eliminating the need for any separate S/PDIF audio connection. This feature allows audio to be sent from the projector to your AV receiver through the same HDMI cable already being used to send audio/video to the projector. This eliminates the need for extra cables connected to the projector. eARC allows audio from the projector tuner, Network connection, inserted USB device, or HDMI inputs connected device to be heard through your eARC compatible AV receiver via the projector's HDMI eARC input.
- The audio from the projector's tuner, HDMI inputs, USB ports, and Android TV apps can pass as Dolby Atmos (via Dolby Digital Plus), Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, or 2ch PCM.
- Your AV receiver or soundbar will also have to support eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) to accommodate the playback of these high resolution audio formats. If your AV receiver or soundbar only supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), audio playback will be limited to Dolby Digital or 5.1ch/2ch PCM.
Analog & Digital Audio Out: The Hisense PX1-PRO is outfitted with analog & digital audio outputs (only one output can be used). The stereo minijack (3.5mm) analog output can be connected to a receiver, soundbar, powered speakers, or set of headphones. The projector's optical (toslink) digital output terminal will output Dolby Digital (when available), DTS, or 2ch PCM. The digital optical output terminal only sends an audio signal in Dolby Digital or DTS when receiving Dolby Digital/DTS surround sound from a digital broadcast channel through the tuner, HDMI inputs, Android TV apps, or USB ports. When the projector's analog or digital output is selected, the projector's built-in speaker system is muted.
WiSA Ready: The Hisense PX1-PRO is WiSA Ready and compatible with WiSA enabled USB transmitters and WiSA certified speakers (all sold separately) for creating a wireless 5.1ch audio system. Thanks to WiSA technology you can create a wireless 5.1ch speaker system with low-latency (5.1 milliseconds), seamless synchronization (+/-1.0 microseconds), and high-fidelity audio (24-bit/96kHz).
Note: In addition to the Hisense PX1-PRO projector, you'll need a WiSA enabled USB transmitter and WiSA certified speakers/sub to create a wireless 5.1ch speaker setup (all sold separately).
