Overview: The HoMedics Contouring Back Support with Soothing Heat (HCS-50DJ-BK) helps to relieve back pain. The ergonomically-designed back support also improves posture. The back support fits in almost any home or office chair, and is held in place with its adjustable strap. You can turn on the soothing heat and select one of six heat settings on the in-line remote control. The Back Support comes with a detachable 12-foot AC power cord.

Back Support: The Back Support features a wire frame with a polyester knit mesh covering. The contoured back support helps to improve posture, particularly for those who sit for long periods of time while they work, play video games, or just relax. You can fasten the back support to your chair via a hook-and-loop strap, if desired.

Heat Therapy: Two plush fabric-covered heating pads are sewn into the mesh covering, providing soothing relief to tired, sore muscles in the middle and lower back. Heat therapy helps to increase blood flow to the affected areas to promote healing. Using the in-line handheld LCD controller, you can adjust the heat settings up or down from 1 to 6. As a safety feature, the controller has a 2-hour auto-off timer. The Auto-Off indicator light will glow when the unit has shut itself off.

Power: The Contouring Back Support with Soothing Heat is powered by standard 110-volt AC power. It has an extra-long (12-foot) power cord which is detachable for easy storage. The cord plugs into the back of the lower heating pad via a 4-pin plug.
