Overview: The HoMedics Lumbar Pillow with Soothing Heat (HCS-51-GY) offers relief for sore neck, shoulder, and back muscles. The pillow's ergonomic design provides support where it's needed while improving posture, while heat therapy radiates deep into muscle tissue. The Lumbar Pillow comes with an AC adapter for power, and carries a 2-year warranty.

Heat Therapy: The Lumbar Pillow can add heat to your therapy to help relieve tightness, and soothe tension, stress, and muscle aches. The heat radiates deep into muscles for quick relief. The power button lets you toggle between the three available heat settings, and off. LEDs surrounding the power button indicate the heat setting: Low (1 LED), Medium (2 LEDs), High (3 LEDs), and Off (0 LEDs).

Uses: There are several ways to use the Lumbar Pillow with Soothing Heat. You can use the pillow behind your neck or while reclining in a bed or on a sofa to soothe aching neck and shoulder muscles. For lower back therapy, first secure the pillow to the back of a chair using the integrated hook-and-loop strap, then sit in the chair and position the pillow to the lower back area. The strap is adjustable, and fits most home or office chairs.

Power: The Lumbar Pillow operates on 12 volts DC, supplied by the included AC adapter with an output of 18 watts (12V 1.5A). The pillow has a DC barrel connector (male) on the left end next to the Power button. The AC adapter has a power cord that is just over 6 feet (74") in length, so you'll have to use it within 6 feet of an AC outlet.

Auto Shutoff: For safety, the pillow is equipped with an automatic shutoff feature after 30 minutes of use.

Materials: The Lumbar Pillow is made with a Polyurethane foam pad with a 100% Polyester two-toned fabric cover. You should spot clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge. It should never be immersed or come into contact with water or any other liquids.
