Overview: The HoMedics Dual Temp Percussion Pro Hot & Cold Massager (HHP-500H) uses percussion therapy, as well as heat and cold, to help relieve sore, tight muscles. The massager is lightweight and portable, so you can take it anywhere. Dual pivoting massage heads, three sets of massage nodes, and five speed settings let you customize your experience. The massager comes with a long power cord, and plugs into a standard 110-volt outlet. It is 6-13/16" x 6-3/4" x 14-1/2" (WxHxD) and weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces.

Dual Massage Heads: The massager is equipped with two 2" diameter massage heads, spaced 3-1/2" apart. The dual massaging heads let you treat a wide area with effective percussion therapy that reaches deep into muscle tissue. Five speed settings let you select a gentle, relaxing massage or a more intense, vigorous massage. Each press of the main power button cycles through each speed setting, and then to off. Five LEDs above the power button indicate the selected speed setting. The massager comes with three pairs of head attachments: indented, spiral, and smooth. The attachments simply press onto the massage heads. The massager can be used for 15 minutes continually until the unit turns itself off.

Heat and Cold Therapy: In addition to the massage therapy, you can add instant heat or cold to enhance your experience. Heat helps to relax tight muscles, while cold relieves inflammation caused by overexertion. The massager utilizes the Peltier effect, a phenomenon caused by running electrical current through the junction connecting two different materials, creating a transfer of heat from one material to the other. The heating and cooling functions have separate buttons that turn the effect on or off with each press. You can use the heat or cold functions alone or with the massage function. The heating/cooling functions should be used when the massage head attachments are removed.

Dual Handles: The Hot & Cold Massager includes two handles. The ergonomic main handle has a rubberized grip for easy handling. The front grip handle, just above the massage heads, makes it easy to apply the massage therapy in some hard-to-reach areas.

Power: The Dual Temp Percussion Pro massager requires plugging into a 110-volt AC outlet. The power cable comes in two pieces: a 36" pigtail attached to the massager, and a 75" cable attached to the included AC adapter, for a total of 9'-3".
