Overview: Nanoleaf Blocks feature modular LED light panels for creating a dynamic animated lighting effect on your walls. This Blocks Squares Smarter Kit (N8100K03-6BS) includes six 9" square panels that you can arrange and illuminate in over 16-million colors. The kit comes with hardware for attaching the panels together and to the wall, plus a control module and a power supply with an 8.25' cord. The lights can be controlled individually or in groups through the control module, the Nanoleaf app, or with voice commands via your favorite digital Voice Assistant. Nanoleaf Blocks displays are covered by a two-year warranty.

Light Panels: The Blocks Squares kit features large square light panels that illuminate from edge-to-edge. They connect together with rigid linkers that are adhesive-backed for applying to the wall. The light panels and linkers have copper tracers that pass along the power and control signals that determine the color and brightness of the LEDs. The controller and power supply both plug into the edge of one of the panels. Because they use the same linkers, you can integrate Blocks Squares with other Nanoleaf Shapes and Elements light panels. Unlike some Nanoleaf products, Blocks are not touch reactive.

Controller: The controller provides convenient shortcuts to common commands. It also contains a microphone to pickup music in the room for rhythm scenes that react to the beats. The controller has the following buttons:

• Power: turns lights on or off
• Arrow: cycles through to the next preset Scene
• Music Note: cycles through default or saved color scenes or rhythm scenes
• Minus Sign: decreases brightness by 10%
• Plus Sign: increases brightness by 10%

Wi-Fi / Thread: Nanoleaf Blocks connect directly to your Wi-Fi network 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n) without the need for a hub or bridge. They are also compatible with the Thread mesh network (IEEE 802.15.4 MAC/PHY), and interconnect with other Nanoleaf Essentials light strips and smart bulbs for advanced control. Blocks will work as a Thread Border Router (with a future firmware update) which supports bi-directional connectivity between Thread and Wi-Fi/Ethernet networks.

Nanoleaf App/Voice Assistants: The Nanoleaf mobile app, available for iOS 15.4+ and Android 9+, allows you to design, setup, and control your Nanoleaf lights from the palm of your hand. The app features a Layout Assistant to help you design your Nanoleaf lights, whether its how the lights are put together physically, or choosing colors in a custom configuration. You can choose from numerous lighting scenes or create your own custom color layout. Each Nanoleaf light can be turned on/off individually or in groups, and dimmed or brightened as you desire. You can also choose from millions of colors from the intuitive color wheel for full-color lights. The lights can be automated into set schedules to meet your daily lighting needs, dimming at night and gently brightening as you wake up. The app also lets you turn on Rhythm Scenes that dance to your music. With the Nanoleaf desktop app (Windows 10+, macOS 12+), you can activate the Screen Mirror feature that causes the Nanoleaf lights to mimic the on-screen activity for movies and gaming. Connect your lights with your smart home assistant, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri (Apple HomeKit), and use voice commands to control them hands free. Nanoleaf products also work with IFTTT, Samsung SmartThings, and Razer Chroma RGB.
