Overview: The WAATR PureMax 4D water bottle uses cutting-edge 4D Purification™ to purify your drinking water to keep you healthy. It combines traditional filtration with UV-C purification to remove particulates, chemicals, metals, bio-contaminants, and other impurities that may be harmful to your health. PureMax 4D is made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel, and is triple-insulated to keep your water cold for up to 24 hours. This 32-ounce PureMax 4D water bottle comes with Purist and Artesian filter cartridges, a Flow Restrictor, and a USB charging cable for the built-in Lithium-ion battery.

4D Purification: PureMax 4D purification combines traditional filtration with a time-dependent UV-C treatment to achieve 1,000,000x purification:

• UV-C Purification: The 4D-Purification system provides a timed purification mode with exposure to two 20mW UV-C LEDs in the cap to eradicate 99.999999% of bio-contaminants, such as bacteria, viruses, and pathogens. The dual UV-C LEDs are 100 times more powerful than any other UV bottle. After filling the water bottle, you can press the activation button once for Pure Mode which takes one minute. Press three times for Ultra-Pure Mode which treats the water for a three-minute treatment.
• Filter Cartridge: As you take a drink, the water passes through a state-of-the-art filter system, where it gets treated three-dimensionally as it travels through the various surfaces and layers of the filter. The filter cartridge removes particulates, chemicals, and metal contaminants.

Filter Options: WAATR filters have the capacity to filter 120 liters of water, or about 60 days at an average water consumption of 2 liters a day. There are three different filter options for the PureMax 4D water bottle:

• Purist: The Purist filter is powered by an advanced blend of coconut charcoal and ion-exchange resin to reduce key contaminants such as Lead, Mercury, Manganese, Zinc, Iron, Copper, Benzene, and Chlorine (taste and odor). It also eliminates particulates and debris. Purist Filter refills are available in a 3-pack.
• Artesian: The Artesian filter uses the same filtration ingredients as Purist filters, and adds a proprietary blend of minerals to enhance the taste of normal water to Artesian tasting water. Artesian Filter refills are available in a 3-pack.
• Alkaline: The Alkaline filter utilizes coconut charcoal and ion-exchange resin for filtration to reduce contaminants. The filter adds alkaline minerals to enhance the pH of the water to 9.2. Alkaline Filter refills are available in a 3-pack.

Note: One Purist and one Artesian filter are included with the PureMax 4D water bottle. Before installing a new filter, it must be primed by soaking it in 1 liter of water for about 15 minutes.

Filter Analysis: WAATR will analyze your used filters to let you know what contaminants they find, and how they can affect your health. The company will not cover shipping of used filters.

PureMax 4D Cap: The PureMax 4D's cap contains a majority of the purification technology and design. The unique spout is designed to prevent contact with unfiltered water or contaminated water if refilling from a questionable water source. The two UV-C LEDs and the Lithium-ion rechargeable battery are housed in the cap, as are the filter cartridges. The same cap fits all sizes of PureMax 4D bottles, including 25-, 32-, and 40-ounce models.

UV Sanitizer: Not only can the UV-C LEDs purify your water, they can be used to sanitize small items, such as your phone, keys, or face mask. Simply place the item inside the bottle and run them through the 3-minute Ultra Pure Mode to eliminate up to 99.99% of germs on the surface of the items.

Self-Cleaning: The PureMax 4D has a self-cleaning feature that keeps the bottle odor-free. When activated, the UV-C LEDs will turn on for 15 seconds once every hour. You can activate or deactivate the self-cleaning feature by with a long press (> 3 seconds) of the Activation Button. The cap LED indicators will blink green when activated or red when deactivated.

Built-in Battery: The built-in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery powers the UV-C LEDs. The cap features a magnetic charger interface instead of a charging port to keep the cap safe and waterproof. The included charging cable has a magnetic 2-pin terminal to easily connect to the charging contacts. The cable plugs into a USB-A charging adapter. A full charge takes about 3 to 4 hours, and the battery lasts about 7 days on a full charge. The graphics around the Activation Button glow to indicate the battery charge level: Green (40% to 100%), Orange (11% to 39%), or Red (1% to 10%). To check the battery status, simply press the Activation Button once.

Hydration Reminder: The PureMax 4D has a Drink Water Reminder feature that helps you stay hydrated through the day. When activated, the LEDs on the cap will blink green three times every 30 minutes. If the cap is not removed for more than two hours, the Drink Reminder will go into standby mode. The Reminder can be toggled on or off by pressing the Activation Button 5 times.

UV-C Smart Safety Feature: PureMax 4D has a smart safety sensor to protect users from accidental eye exposure to the UV-C rays. When the cap is removed, the UV-C LEDs are deactivated. If an attempt is made to remove the cap during Pure or UltraPure Mode, or the self-cleaning mode, the indicator will flash red for 3 seconds and the UV-C LEDs will turn off.
