Product Research
Features
Overview: The RDL TX-J2 Unbalanced Input Transformer can passively mix two unbalanced line-level audio channels into a mono balanced output, with no added signal gain. The TX-J2 features a pair of gold plated RCA inputs, accepting either stereo or dual-mono consumer-level audio signals, and a removeable 3-pin Euroblock output that provides a balanced mono outupt signal for running to a 10kΩ or higher balanced input on outboard audio equipment. The 3-pin Euroblock connector can accommodate wire up to 14-gauge. The TX-J2 transformer is also designed to reject induced "hum" on the unbalanced inputs, and has a frequency response of 30Hz-20kHz (± 1dB).
Note: The RDL TX-J2 is a passive module that does not add gain to the consumer-level RCA input. The balanced output signal is not a standard +4dBu signal.
