Q
Does it work with an Amazon Fire TV and a Verizon STB? (My particular Amazon is AMZ_K24NE5_4K55N400A)
evan  May 31, 2025
1 answer
A
It does have command code for Verizon STB, but it does not appear that your model TV is supported at this time. This may change in the future and I recommend contacting a product advisor by calling 1-800-324-9695 to check

Q
Will this control my Denon AVR-E300 receiver?
chris  Jan 26, 2025
1 answer
A
Hey Chris, yes, the One For All remote will work with Denon components.

Q
Can it control my fireplace?
dean  Dec 26, 2024
1 answer
A
Greetings Dean. Thank you for your question. First it will depend on your fireplace, and if it is controllable via infrared remotes. If it is, the chance is good. Second, All for One has codes for over 300,000 devices, and over 7,000 different brands. If your fireplace is not on their list, but it is I.R. capable, All for One can get the program codes updated for you.

Q
Will it work with multi viewer, Firestick, Roku, chromecast and Comcast cable box?
joseph  Dec 19, 2024
1 answer
A
Hey Joseph, of those you listed, Roku, Google, and Comcast do have codes that show up in the list of compatible devices. Amazon's pieces, I could not find in the list, and Multi Viewer is an app/streaming platform, not a physical device so as long as you are using a streamer that is compatible with it, you're golden.

Q
Can you control two separate TVâ??s in different rooms?
lamar  Dec 06, 2024
1 answer
A
Greetings Lamar. Thank you for your question. The remote is line of sight (IR), it can control up to 8 devices, TV's etc. As long as the remote is in the room of choice, you can control as many IR. devices up to 8 as you like.
thomas  Dec 07, 2024 (Staff)
Q
Will it work with Roku Ultra box, Bose 600 soundbar, and LG C3 TV? Because that's what I have
thomas  Oct 23, 2024
1 answer
A
Greetings Thomas. Thank you for your question. The One For All remote uses Inferred (IR), as well as all three of your devices, so this remote will control all of them.
thomas  Oct 23, 2024 (Staff)
Q
Does it have an IR blaster? My equipment is in another room. The remote I was using a Harmony 900 has quit working and I'm looking for a replacement.
ken  Jan 17, 2024
1 answer
A
The One-For-All Smart Control 8 does not come with any IR blaster accessories included, Ken. You would need an IR repeater like the Xantech DL85K in the link below to control equipment in another location. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_309DL85K/Xantech-DL85K.html
bo  Jan 18, 2024 (Staff)
Q
Will it work for a Bose Lifestyle 28?
josesoltero  Nov 21, 2023
1 answer
A
Greetings Jose. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately not. The One for All remote uses Inferred (IR), and the Lifestyle uses Radio Frequency (RF). You would need a universal RF remote, but most of your other components would still use IR, so a single remote for all your gear is unlikely, unless it supports both IR, and RF.

Q
Can I get my vcr to record with this remote it is refurbished from zenith?
peggy  Aug 06, 2023
1 answer
A
The One For All Smart Control 8 can control a wide variety of devices, Margaret. Codes for Zenith set-top boxes and Bluray/DVD players are listed in the codelist, but I cannot guarantee compatibility with your Zenith VCR and the One For All does not have a record button, sadly. However, in addition to its programmable code list for remote control commands, the Universal Smart Control Remote offers a learning feature that can be used to fully customize the remote by copying functions directly from your original IR remote control. I hope this helps!
bo  Aug 07, 2023 (Staff)
Q
I have a brand new Denon remote for AVR and an Xfinity remote They are IR devices. Are you saying your device can read my existing remotes via Bluetooth and set up? How do I do this?
scott  May 06, 2023
1 answer
A
Thank you for your question, Scott. The Bluetooth capability is through the mobile App. If you purchased the product from Crutchfield, feel free to contact our Tech Support team. They can walk you through the setup of this remote. Our toll-free Tech Support number is printed on your invoice and is also available under the "My Orders" tab in the "My Account" section of our website. If you did not purchase the unit from Crutchfield, then you may want to contact the manufacturer.

Q
Can the controlled device HDMI-CEC function be enabled when programming/using the remote?
philip  May 02, 2023
1 answer
A
HDMI-CEC could be enabled, but could be an obstacle if you plan to program activity buttons (macros) for controlling multiple devices with a single command. If one of the devices you plan to control via an activity button would also be controlled via CEC, then it may result in conflicting commands being sent to said device.
zachary  May 03, 2023 (Staff)
Q
Does this remote turn off all the devices that were turned on with the selected activity's button by pressing the remote's power button only once, or does it require toggling through each device that is on and then turn off power for each device individually?
captain  Sep 14, 2022
1 answer
A
It does Cap! You have to set up which devices you would like to be controlled with the Activities feature, but it will control them together in unison. This is especially helpful for power on/off. I've linked a really great video from One For All with a good rundown of setup and operations, and they also show you how you can use the setup app to make setup a breeze! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD48t1nWWhk
bo  Sep 14, 2022 (Staff)
Q
Would this or any other current remote work with an Onkyo TX-8511 receiver?
norton scott  Sep 10, 2022
1 answer
A
Based on information from One For All's compatibility database, this will work with your receiver.
zachary  Sep 11, 2022 (Staff)
Q
Will this work with Apple TV?
chris  Aug 06, 2022
1 answer
A
Unfortunately it will not work with Apple TV.
arielle  Aug 06, 2022 (Staff)
Q
Does this remote compatible with Bluetooth lights or Bluetooth outlet plugs?
william  Jan 26, 2022
1 answer
A
Those devices must come with an IR remote. As long as they do, this remote can learn a variety functions from most any working IR remote control which means it can learn commands from that remote which comes with those devices
jason  Feb 05, 2022 (Staff)
Q
Is this remote compatible with Epson 5050UBe Projector?
michael  Aug 20, 2021

I think it may be, but search the web to find the owner manual for it to be sure.
joseph  Aug 21, 2021
Q

shawn  Jul 10, 2021

Q
Will this control a nad 712 reciever?
erich  Jun 25, 2021
