Replacement Apple TV Remote: The One For All URC 1110 is a replacement remote for Apple TV HD (4th generation) and Apple TV 4K (all generation) with tvOS 14.3 or later (not compatible with previous Apple TV models or previous tvOS versions).

Backlit Push-Button Controls: The One for All URC 1110 replacement Apple TV remote includes the following backlit push-button controls - Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Mute, Channel/Page, Program Guide, Navigation/Select, Menu, TV/Home, Play/Pause, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Siri. A built-in accelerometer activates the remote's backlit buttons when motion is detected, making it easier to find and use in low light environments.

Note: The Fast Forward/Rewind functions need to be supported by the app. For example the Apple TV+ app supports them, but the YouTube app does not.

Siri Voice Control: The "Mic" button on the URC 1110 replacement remote activates Siri, so you can continue to use voice control to access and enjoy entertainment apps from Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K.

TV/Soundbar Control: The One For All URC 1110 can operate up to 3 devices including your compatible Apple TV HD or 4K, select TVs, and select soundbars. The remote can control Power and Volume functions of your TV and soundbar. Your compatible TV and soundbar will be controlled via HDMI-CEC. Make sure that the option to Control TVs and Receivers is set to "On" on your compatible Apple TV device. Also, please ensure that you have enabled HDMI-CEC on your compatible TV or soundbar.

Bluetooth Pairing: The One For All URC 1110 connects wirelessly to your compatible Apple TV via Bluetooth. You can pair the remote with only one Apple TV at a time. When you pair the URC 1110 remote, any previously paired remote is automatically unpaired.

Batteries Not Included: The One For All URC 1110 replacement Apple TV remote requires two "AAA" batteries (not included).

will this remote control volume on HomePods connected to appletv?

Hey Stacey, yes, since the Home Pods are tied wirelessly with the Apple TV in this case for "home theater" then the volume controls on the Apple TV remote once set up will control HomePod volume levels.
