DS18's LC-RGB lighting controller gives you total control over the light show on your boat or in your powersports vehicle. This tough, compact unit fits almost anywhere, and app control lets you adjust just about any aspect of your lights. Rated at IP66, this controller can withstand tough environments — making it perfect for marine and powersport applications. It's an excellent complement to DS18's speakers and amps with RGB LED lights, as well as their vehicle-specific soundbar wiring harnesses for Jeeps.

Use your phone

You can control and customize the LEDs using your phone and DS18's free control app. The controller's built-in Bluetooth lets you run the show from up to 100 feet away. There's even a Music Mode that enables your lighting to react to the music playing on your smartphone. The LC-RGB is designed for 4-wire RGB LED light systems.

RGB LED Controller: The DS18 LC-RGB is a water-resistant Bluetooth controller designed for RGB LED lighting (sold separately). The RGB controller can provide up to 180 watts of output power (15A max), letting you connect multiple RGB LED lights. The LC-RGB carries an IP66 water-resistance rating, making it ideal for cars, SUVs, motorcycles, powersports vehicles and ATVs.

Bluetooth Connection: Control for the LC-RGB is made through your Bluetooth-connected smartphone using the DS18 LC app, available for iOS and Android devices. Bluetooth v5.4 provides faster speeds and control range up to 100 feet.

App Control: The DS18 LC app provides two main modes for operation, Magic and Music Modes:

Magic Mode: This mode features a complete RGB lighting control panel that lets you select colors from a color wheel; select various combinations of colors via the Mode Palette; combine colors to make your own; select preset Modes like Static or Flashing; adjust the Brightness and Speed via virtual sliders; and specify the RGB wire order for your lighting.
Music Mode: Music mode lets you change the RGB color and Palette Mode to match the music playing on your smartphone. A similar function, Mic Mode, uses the microphone in your device to change the RGB lighting according to external sounds.

Wiring: The DS18 LC-RGB controller features a built-in 10" wiring harness with each wire function labeled on it:

Red: Negative (-) for red

do i need a controller for each speaker?

Greetings Ryan. Thank you for your question. That would be kind of brutal if you did. No, one controller can support up to 15 amps. Most LED lights in speakers will pull about 1 amp. This would cover roughly 15 speakers.
