Features
Mono Marine Amplifier: The HYDRO NXL-X1000.1D is a mono subwoofer amplifier that's part of DS18's marine and powersports series amplifiers. The compact Class D amplifier is designed to deliver powerful and efficient performance while minimizing distortion. It features a durable sealed chassis with built-in wiring harnesses giving the amp an IP67 waterproof rating. Combined with UV, salt, and fog protection, the NXL-X1000.1D is ideal for the outdoor environment.

Controls & Indicators: The NXL-X1000.1D's top-panel audio controls and indicators can be accessed by removing the protective cover using the provided 2mm Allen key (attached to fuse holder). This keeps all of the controls protected from the elements when not making adjustments. Controls include:
- Gain: A rotary gain control lets you run low-level signals ranging from 200 mV up to 5 V.
- Crossover: A rotary Low-Pass crossover dial lets you adjust the cutoff frequency from 50-250 Hz.
- Subsonic Filter: A rotary dial lets you remove subsonic frequencies from 10-55 Hz.
- Bass Boost: A rotary dial lets you apply 0-18 dB of boost centered at 42 Hz.
- Power/Protect LED: A single LED will illuminate Blue when the amp is powered on and will change to Red if the amplifier goes into protect mode. The Protect circuit can guard against Over-Heating, Over/Under Voltage, Short-Circuit, and DC Output.
- Clip LED: A Clip LED will light Yellow to let you know the input signal (Gain) has reached the distortion point and will need to be lowered.
Power Harness: The NXL-X1000.1D features attached power, ground, and remote turn-on wires. The 10" power and ground wires (6 AWG) terminate in a 2-pin plug that connects to the included 6" extension harness that's terminated in bare-ended wire. The power wire includes an in-line fuse holder with two installed 50A ATO fuses. Additional 4 AWG power and ground wire (sold separately) may be required for connection to your 12-volt battery and chassis ground. The attached 14" remote turn-on lead includes a 10" extension wire for connection to your headunit's remote output.
Speaker Output: An attached 6" harness provides the mono speaker output, terminated in a 2-pin connector. A 9" matching harness plugs into the connector and features bare-ended 14-gauge speaker wire.
RCA Inputs: Audio inputs consist of two RCA connectors on an attached 4" harness. Each connector is encased in a plastic housing with protective cap.
Note: The DS18 NXL-X1000.1D does not include speaker-level inputs. If connecting the amp to a headunit without pre-amp outputs, a speaker wire-to-RCA adapter will be required and is sold separately.
Mounting: The NXL-X1000.1D amplifier features four mounting tabs built into the chassis ends that can be secured using the supplied mounting hardware.
