Not good for minivan or SUV

The camera will not work with any extension cable. That means you are limited to the cable length provided with the camera. You have to route the cable through the roof liner if you have an SUV or minivan to mount the camera on the rear window. Routing through the roof liner won't work if you have side curtain air bags, which most later models have.
