These heavy-duty enclosures can take the punishment of the car environment, with rugged 3/4" MDF construction to give your sub plenty of support. Attractive and tough charcoal carpet protects the box from nicks and dings, while gold-tipped spring terminals hold your speaker wires securely. Product Research

Features

Design: The SB210SV is an unloaded, ported enclosure for two 10" subwoofers. It's constructed of ¾" MDF (medium-density fiberboard) and covered in charcoal colored carpet.

Internal Box Volume: The enclosure has two separate chambers, each with a volume of 1.1 ft³. The tuning frequency is 42 Hz. While each sub has its own chamber, there is only one exterior port opening, and the subs share the last 11¾" of port length.

Terminals: The wire terminals are spring-posts (two pair) mounted on the back of the enclosure. The spring terminals will accept pin connectors and bare wire up to 12-gauge. Inside the enclosure there are 0.205" male quick-slides (will accept 0.205" female quick slides) for both the positive and negative terminals. The wire can also be attached using the nuts holding the quick-slides in place.

Note: Speaker wire is needed to connect the terminals to the subwoofers.

Brackets: Brackets for securing the enclosure in your vehicle are recommended.

Customer Q&A

Q
I have two Rockville punisher 10d1 subs is this box right for them?
brandon  Jan 23, 2024
1 answer
A
We can compare the internal box dimensions to the listed specifications on the Rockville subs, Brandon. Taking a quick look at the specs the Punisher's require a minimum of 1.6 cubic feet per chamber ported, so this box is not large enough for good performance. With those specific speakers you may need to consider custom fabricating a box large enough if you wish to go ported. The SPL Boxes SB210 sealed in the link below has 1 cubic foot of internal space with a max depth of 12-1/16" and the Rockville's show they can work in sealed boxes down to .88 cubes, so the box below could be a good option if you do not wish to build your own subwoofer box.

Q
Will Kicker Q-Class 42CWQ102 fit and work well in this box?
sammantha  Nov 03, 2023
1 answer
A
This SPL Boxes SB210SV slot-ported enclosure is not a good match for the Q-Class 10", Sammantha. The Q-Class requires a minimum cubic feet size of 1.25 in a ported box and the SPL box measures 1.1 cubic feet (before the subwoofer is installed). If you wish to use a ported box, we advise building your own custom with dual Q-class 10"s. If you would consider using a sealed box, the SPL SB210 in the link below is a good match to the Kicker 42CWQ102 as it can work well in sealed enclosures over .66 cubic feet minimum. I hope this helps! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_419SB210/SPL-Boxes-SB210.html

Q
Is this box within spec for JL 10w3v3 subwoofers?

A
Greetings Steven, and thank you for your question. Technically the W3 10 inch would like to be in a 1.1 cubic foot ported box. This box is 1.25, so not a huge difference there. The sub would work fine.

Q
Hello I need a box for two 10" Audiobahn flame series AW1008Q. I'm not sure which boxes will fit these and should it be ported, vented or neither? These are going in the trunk of a 97 Buick LeSabre limited edition sedan with a roomy trunk. Do you guys build custom sized boxes for these if needed? Thanks.

I have a CTS 2 door Cadillac. I triedthe sealed box, but the vented sounds better in the trunk.

This ported box doesn't have the box volume the subs call for. They call for 1.63 cubic feet when in a ported box. In a sealed box, they need between .4 and .95 cubic feet. Unfortunately, we don't make custom boxes in house.

Can Rockford power 10??? fit?
eric  Feb 04, 2023

A
Greetings Eric, and thank you for your question. Technically yes, the Power series 10 inch will fit, but the air space the box has is under what Rockford Fosgate recommends using for their Power series subwoofer in a ported enclosure.
