Great, easy upgrade from stock. My 02 325xi wagon with 180k miles had its original speakers and all ten were blown, one tweeter was completely dead. After a year and a half and 26k miles of barely being able to enjoy my music in my daily / road trip car I finally decided to pull the trigger on this kit. Night and day difference, they sound excellent, comparable to the Infinity Reference series speakers I have in my other cars but a direct bolt-in with no worries about matching impedances to the factory amp and head unit. Even with the extra disassembly needed for the wagon hatch area (and gluing back together the plastic panels that shattered upon removal...old bimmer things) from start to finish the install took like an hour and a half in my driveway.

Pros: Super easy install, good sound quality, nice packaging

Cons: Crossovers for front door tweeters are a little tight on wire length to tuck them so the door cards fit properly. Adapter pigtails for midranges are way too long (at this price point, they ought to just source the OEM style connectors). Plugging the midbass speakers in with bare blade contacts feels janky for a kit at this price point. Gluing in the mids also feels janky, but I suppose the OE rear ones are glued in so its not that different.
