The OSD Forza 850T LUM is a rugged landscape speaker with built-in lighting that can "shine" in an outdoor sound system for your home or place of business. It handles up to 200 watts of power, and has a built-in transformer tap that allows it to fit into a commercial distributed audio system. Its 8" woofer and 1" tweeter are housed in a rugged outdoor enclosure that disperses sound in an encompassing 360-degree pattern. You can mount this speaker above ground or partially bury it in the landscape to present a low profile.
Built-in LED lights also shine in a 360-degree pattern, to provide indirect ambient light and help illuminate your path at night. The light array requires a 12-volt landscape lighting approved transformer, which is not included, but can easily be purchased at most home improvement stores. The light is considered "cool" in appearance, with a color temperature of 4000K. The maximum light output is 800 lumens — similar to a 60-watt incandescent lightbulb — and it illuminates an area of approximately 1-1/2 feet.

Overview: The OSD Forza-850T-LUM is an in-ground, 2-way omni-directional speaker designed for distributed 70V and 8Ω audio systems in home and commercial outdoor applications. Built-in LED lighting can provide 800 Lumens of "Cool" LED light around the speaker. The in-ground omni speaker is an ideal choice for a variety of landscapes ranging from backyards to amusement parks, providing a full 360° of sound dispersion and lighting.
Construction: The Forza-850T-LUM 2-way in-ground speaker features an 8" polypropylene cone woofer and a 1" Mylar whizzer cone tweeter mounted in a high-impact polypropylene enclosure. This combination provides deep bass and detailed highs in a wide 360° dispersion pattern for broad area coverage.
70V & 8Ω Operation: The OSD Forza-850T-LUM features a built-in 60 watt 70V transformer for commercial applications. An 8Ω bypass also allows it to be used in a "standard" speaker configuration with up to 200 watts RMS power handling. A tap-dial located beside the down-firing 2-way driver provides selections for the following:
- 70V: 20W, 40W, 60W, Off
- 8Ω: Bypass
LED Lighting: The Forza-850T-LUM features a built-in LED light ring around the 2-way driver, providing 360° light for walkways, pathways, patios and more. The LED lighting has a color temperature of 4000K (Cool) and a maximum light output of 800 Lumens, approximately the same light output of a 60W incandescent bulb. The LEDs can light a 1.5' area (approximately) around the speaker. The LED lighting requires a 12VDC power supply (sold separately) that can provide up to 10W of power.
Wire Connection: A 30" section of jacketed 16-gauge speaker wire attached to the bottom of the enclosure provides the signal input for the speaker. A 36" length of twin-conductor 18-gauge wire is used for powering the LED lighting. Direct-burial wire is recommended for connection and is sold separately.
Landscape Mounting: The Forza-850T-LUM is constructed with weatherproof components that are resistant to rain, snow, insects, and dirt, making it ideal for open outdoor spaces. The outdoor speaker should be partially buried, making sure the down-firing driver is exposed.
Note: The OSD Forza-850T-LUM is weatherproof, but is not designed to be fully submerged in water.
