The OSD Audio Forza 6 can deliver warm-sounding background music and audible announcements in spaces with high or irregular ceilings. This rugged, outdoor-rated speaker hangs securely from above and creates a 120-degree cone of sound for listeners below, thanks to a 6-1/2" polypropylene cone woofer and 1" silk dome tweeter.
A built-in transformer tap offers versatile settings for use in a distributed audio system. Or you can power a pair with a standard stereo receiver or amplifier using the 8-ohm bypass setting.

Features
Overview: The OSD Forza 6 pendant speaker is designed for distributed 70/100V audio systems in home and commercial applications. The pendant speaker is an ideal choice for spaces with irregular or uneven architectural features such as vaulted ceilings in high-end home environments, malls, restaurants, bars, museums, and other spaces where multiple speakers are required and placement is challenging.
Speaker Design: The Forza 6 2-way pendant speaker features a 6.5" polypropylene woofer and a 1" silk dome tweeter that can provide accurate, full-range sound with a wide 120˚ dispersion pattern. Both drivers are housed in a sealed enclosure that's UV-resistant and is IP66 rated, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
70/100V & 8Ω: The OSD Forza 6 features a built-in 70/100V transformer for commercial applications. An 8Ω bypass also allows it to be used in a "standard" speaker configuration. A tap-dial on top of the speaker provides selections for the following:
- 70V: 2.5W, 5W, 10W, and 20W.
- 100V: 5W, 10W, 20W, and 40W
- 8Ω: Bypass
Connection: Wiring connections to the Forza 6 pendant speaker are made through a 4-pin Euroblock connector located on top of the speaker, accommodating speaker wire up to 14-gauge. Two pins are used for the connection from an amplifier while the other two pins are used for daisy-chaining the signal out to additional speakers. An included strain relief attachment helps prevent the wire connection from being pulled loose (speaker wire sold separately).
Mounting: Designed for pendant mounting, the Forza 6 includes a 40" (3.3') suspension cable with two locking-carabiners. The cable attaches to the speaker using the provided eye-bolt that threads into the top of the speaker housing, while the other end can be attached to a mounting point in the ceiling. A top cover is provided to protect the tap dial and Euroblock wiring connector.
Optional Mounting: The optional Landscape and Surface Mount Kit, found here, can be used for mounting the Forza 6 to a wall or placed on the ground in an outdoor landscape installation. The wall mount features a swiveling bracket that allows the speaker to be precisely aimed. For landscape installation, a ground stake and mounting plate are included.
