Features
Overview: The OSD PC640 6.5" Hanging Pendant Speaker is designed for distributed 70/100V audio systems in commercial applications such as airports, shopping malls, and restaurant music & paging systems. The PC640 is fashioned after modern lighting fixtures and features a wide 140° dispersion pattern making it ideally suited for open spaces and high vaulted ceilings. The PC640 pendant speaker is designed for indoor installation.
Speaker Design: The PC640 2-way pendant speaker features a 6.5" polypropylene-cone woofer, with a rubber surround, and a 1" dome tweeter, all mounted in a sealed enclosure, providing accurate bass, rich midrange sound, and detailed highs.
70/100V & 8Ω: The OSD PC640 features a built-in 20 watt, 70/100V transformer for commercial applications. An 8Ω bypass also allows it to be used in a "standard" speaker configuration with up to 100 watts of power handling. A tap-dial on top of the speaker provides the wattage selections. A slot-screwdriver (sold separately) will be required for changing the tap settings.

Connection & Mounting: The OSD PC640 pendant speaker features a built-in 6' length of 16-gauge speaker wire extending from the top of the speaker. The wire is jacketed with thick rubber, allowing the speaker to be suspended from the wire itself. A hanging hook is included that can be attached to a suspension point on a ceiling, allowing the PC640 speaker wire to pass through the hook while supporting the speaker.
Note: There are no mounting points or safety cable attachment points on the OSD PC640 pendant speaker. The speaker is suspended solely by the integrated 6' wiring cable.
