Mixed Bag
Jeff from Placitas NM on 8/1/2024
Mixed bag on his one. It works fine - BUT the Line In and Line Out are totally standalone (and I assume the speaker level in and out works the same). What I mean is that you have to have a line in input in order to get a line out output. This is not explained anywhere in the literature. I was expecting that if I hooked up a speaker level input, the line out would work. Resulted in me having to buy a Russound Speaker input to line level output connector and building a box to house it (open circuitry is not a good thing) . A real pain. For this price, I expect more ALOT more flexibility. Next set up - I think Ill go cheap with a cheap Chi-Fi setup. Certainly less expensive and just as good sound for an outdoor system.
Pros:
Cons: Line In and Out setup

Great amps for passive subwoofers
Joe from Great Falls, VA on 7/1/2024
Spoke with a well informed Crutchfield tech support person about the system I was rebuilding and worked through a couple of options before selecting the products ordered. They arrived the next day as promised (amazing), mounted in the rack easily using the side tabs and work perfectly.
Pros: Easy install, powerful amp for 4 ohm subs, fit standard rack perfectly and have good ventilation
Cons: None

OSD SMP 300
Brian from Winchester, VA on 5/9/2024
This is a good amp. After some help from Austin in tech with some signal issues it works great. It likes a strong signal. My receiver's signal is adjustable so in my case it was set too low. I have it running a JL w1 12 and a JL w1 10. Both 2 ohm wired in series for a 4 ohm laid and it pounds.
Pros: Good power and price. 4 ohm stable. Runs very cool. Doesn't interfere with other equipment.
Cons: Likes a strong signal.

Paul from Fairway, KS on 12/3/2023
Moved into a house with built in speakers and a conversation with Sonny at Crutchfield helped me understand that I needed an amp for the built in subwoofer. Arrived in a couple of days. Easy set up and works great. Enjoying the more complete sound experience with the subwoofer now in play. Very happy with the experience and this purchase.

attractive design, good sound quality and power
Anthony from Grand Rapids, MI on 11/23/2021
I purchased two of these. These subwoofer amps are powering two Jamo IW1060SW in wall subwoofers. One amp for each subwoofer. They sound excellent and I am very happy with the purchase. As a side note, I did not have to run a dc trigger out as the subs stay active at all times. This was a really nice convenience for me. Happy with the purchase and proud to see OSD sold at Crutchfield. Looking forward to the entire line of subwoofer amps being sold here!
