Features

Class D Stereo Amplifier: The OSD Audio XMP100BT (GEN2) stereo amplifier incorporates class D amplification for clean and high efficient power with low distortion. It can be operated in Stereo mode or Bridged-Mono mode. The XMP100BT amplifier can handle 8- or 4-ohm impedance loads in Stereo mode, as well as an 8-ohm impedance load in Bridged-Mono mode.

  • 8-Ohm Stereo Output: 50 watts x 2 channels
  • 4-Ohm Stereo Output: 100 watts x 2 channels
  • 8-Ohm Bridged-Mono Output: 200 watts x 1 channel

Analog Line-Level Inputs: The OSD Audio XMP100BT class D amplifier is outfitted with two sets of stereo analog line-level RCA inputs. There is a Main stereo RCA input and a Interrupting Stereo RCA input. When an audio signal is present at the Interrupting Stereo RCA input, then the XMP100BT will automatically switch from the Main input to the Interrupting input. There is approximately a 6 second delay when switching between the Interrupting input and the Main input.

Analog Line-Level Output: The rear-panel stereo analog line-level RCA output allows the XMP100BT's Main input signal to be passed through to another amplifier. The analog line-level output does not support the XMP100BT's Interrupting input.

Speaker A & B Outputs: The OSD Audio XMP100BT is outfitted with A & B speaker outputs. The A & B speaker outputs consists of binding post terminals that will accept bare-wire (up to 12AWG), pin-connectors, and banana plugs (single or dual). In Stereo mode, you can connect one pair of 4-ohm loudspeakers or two pair of 8-ohm loudspeakers. In Bridged-Mono mode, you can only connect a single 8-ohm loudspeaker to either the A or B speaker outputs, but not both.

  • You can select output from Speaker A only, Speaker B only, or select output from both Speaker A and Speaker B.
  • When using both the A & B speaker outputs, the same audio source will be played back in both zones.

Bluetooth Connectivity: The XMP100BT amplifier features built-in Bluetooth (v. 5.3) for wireless audio streaming from your connected Bluetooth audio device. A rear panel Pairing button and a front panel Pairing/Status button let you easily pair your Bluetooth audio device to the amplifier.

USB: A USB-A port on the rear panel of the OSD amplifier lets you play back stored audio from a flash drive in resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

Tone & Balance Controls: The OSD Audio XMP100BT amplifier offers Bass (100Hz) & Treble 10kHz), as well as Balance (L/R) control. The Bass & Treble control knobs are located on the rear-panel and can be adjusted between -12 and +12 dB. The Balance control knob is located on the front-panel.

12V Trigger In/Out: There is a 12V trigger input (3.5mm) and output (3.5mm) on the back of the OSD Audio amplifier. The 12V trigger input allows the XMP100BT to be powered on by the 12V trigger output of another electronic component. The 12V trigger output lets you power on another electronic component that features a 12V trigger input from the XMP100BT amp.

AC Power Cord: The OSD Audio XMP100BT includes a 59" AC power cord that will need to be plugged into an AC wall outlet or surge protector (sold separately).

Mounting: The XMP100BT includes removable rubber feet for placing the amp on a shelf or table-top. Two rack ears are also included for mounting the amp in a standard 19" equipment rack. When rack-mounted, the XMP100BT takes up 1U of space.

Q
Is this compatible with JL Audio M6 rated @ 4ohms? I want to push 4) M6 7.7" speaker for stereo sound & play my tv through them.
kevin  Jun 10, 2025
1 answer
A
Hey Kevin, yeah, this can be made stable to drive 4 total M6 JL speakers. You would need to wire the speakers themselves in a series wiring pair for the LEFT and the RIGHT and then wiring them up to the Bridged mode on that OSD will present a 200w at 8-ohm load to the speakers.

Q
Compatible with a bose 901 eq?
dizzy  May 17, 2025
1 answer
A
The OSD XMP100BT is not compatible for use with the Bose 901 equalizer, Daniel. You will need an amplifier with a preamp out/main input RCA feature like the NAD C 3050 integrated amplifier in the link below. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_745C3050/NAD-C-3050.html

Q
work for a polk monitor xt70?
ismael  Dec 24, 2024
1 answer
A
Hey Ismael, you will be able to push those Polks with the OSD but depending on the space those speakers are going into, you might find yourself in need of just a bit more power. If you have a preamp already and are just needing a power amp like what you are looking at, I would look at the next OSD in line to ensure we get the most power to the speakers without breaking the bank: https://www.crutchfield.com/I-rET1c402/p_452XMP300B/OSD-XMP300BT-GEN2.html?tp=180

Q
Which channel is the 50 and which channel is the 100?
ty  Oct 11, 2024
1 answer
A
Hey Ty, so the channel output is the same. If the speakers you are using are 8-ohm then you will get 50w from them and if they are a harder to push 4-ohm speaker, then the amp has more power on board for that 100w to drive those speakers.
red  Oct 12, 2024 (Staff)
Q
In bridged, what happens when the speaker temporarily drops below 8 ohms? When tested they often drop to 4-6 ohms for a bit. What does this specific amp do and what did the last model do, and what do most do?
s  Sep 17, 2024
1 answer
A
Greetings. Thank you for your question. If the speaker has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, that run at 8 ohms most of the day. Yes speakers fluctuate and can drop to 7,6,5,or less, but that is just for a very short period of time. Not enough to make amplifiers overheat and go into a protect mode. If your speakers nominal impedance is less than 8 ohms, you want to be looking at a different amplifier.
