These headphones are very comfortable. What I like about them, besides the great sond, is the way they deliver adequate volume. They don't require a lot of power to perform but when the power is there they perform really well. I ordered scratch and dent but when I received them I could not tell them from brand new. Good deal and fast delivery from Crutchfield once again!
Pros: Good sound even from low power source
Cons: None

The left channel constantly shorts out on me. I have to constantly play with the connection at the Y on the headphone cable in order to hear it from both earphones. Mine are Garbage!!!
Pros: Sound WONDERFUL "IF" you can get sound out of both ear cups
Cons: Can't get sound from both ears without CONSTANTLY wiggling the wires at the "Y" connection

Meze Neo = Comfortable wired headphones
My goal was to find comfortable wired headphones that I could wear for 4-6 hours without discomfort. I think these work well. My only complaint is that they are slightly loose on my head. As I only use these when sitting at desk, that's not a problem. Sound seems very good. Don't care about sound quality as much as an audiophile might. I haven't tested mic yet. Case is nice. Cables are okay. I appreciated Crutchfield's buying guide articles, especially the one that discussed comfortable headphones. Shipping was quick. Item was new. All went smoothly & item arrived when it said it would-not a day early, not a day later. Will gladly buy again from Crutchfield.
Pros: Comfort, sound, & price.
Cons: Fit is a tiny bit too loose.

I bought these a couple years ago on another retailer. Just trolling around on Crutchfield, one of my favorite companies, and saw these. Great price. Let me suggest something...buy them. They are astonishing. The day I got them I listened to hours of music like I was hearing it for the first time. Comfortable. I will say, my Grado 80's are up there with these.

Great quality, great sound, insignifficant over explained caviot.
Crutchfield customer from West Augusta, VA on 2/8/2023
The drivers sound great, the build quality is wonderful, the headband is very comfortable and the headphones feel light on the head, light enough for me to have fallen asleep with them on had it not been for two issues, one there is a hard glue that holds a foam cover over the drivers and perfectly jabbs into my upper ear after long listening periods (3-4 hours) this gets painful and two, every slight graze be it from a chair or even a blanket if touching the steel bands sounds like im grinding a metal rod against a steel pipe. Including these issues these are still the best pair of headphones ive ever owned, everything I've had before this had never left the $120 mark and for double the price of most of my previous headphones they feel like they should be quadruple that.
Pros: Sound, build, repairability and appearance.
Cons: Swiveling but not rotating cups, discomfort after very long listening periods.

Not sure yet.

Hello, Subject to revision. I chose these over the Sennheiser 506S. I am not sure if I am missing something "hear" as I do not totally agree with the other reviews. These arrived yesterday and I immediately plugged them into my Astell&Kern SR25. Which is a weird media player for the money. I am still getting used to the A&K EQ settings, which there are many and I think IEM would have been a better choice here. I played Cinderella's "Somebody Save Me". The sound was skirting on the music kind of wanting to get deep but didn't also thin highs, little staging, no lows and thin mids. Then again maybe this mp3 song was not well produced. So, I tried Diana Krall, Look of Love on YouTube. Again, it was teasing me and I wanted more depth and staging. Today I will plug these into each of my 3 keyboard/synth workstations before I decide to return or keep them. I found an interesting headphone test sonic video on YouTube and as per the test these Meze's are remarkable by all measures. And they sounded very good. Link below: https://youtu.be/J0a2Prc_MQo
Pros: Comfortable. Nice build and design.
Cons: Need more testing as they did not impress me when plugged in

I wish I had started my audio journey with Meze. Absolutely tremendous build quality and comfort for the price point. The Neos are a warm headphone but they do not compromise details. While the bass is emphasized it doesn't dominate the mid-range or cloud higher frequencies. They are extremely efficient and will play perfectly fine with most sources. With quality amplification they sound even better; Sabre DACs especially play nice with them and seem to tighten the dynamics. They aren't the most resolving headphone, they aren't neutral, but they are tonally balanced with a lovely timbre and exceptional comfort. A no-brainer for the price. Far and away best in class build for the segment.
Pros: Build Quality and Comfort Tuning Timbre Bass texture Macro-dynamics Accessories Efficiency Better-than-average sound stage Price-to-performance
Cons: Semi-oval earpads could be larger and/or thicker/deeper Only moderate sound isolation for a closed-back Tuning is definitively warm, linear, but warm Lack of detail in the top end; smoothed Highs Lack of overall resolution (but no grain/distortion)

I love em'
Crutchfield customer from Bellingham, WA on 1/1/2021
I bought these headphone specifically for use when rowing and for when I am cooking. (Everything I prepare comes out far more delicious if I am listening to Miles Davis or Dave Brubeck as I create). These headphones have excellent tone, stay put on my head and remain comfortable even for long periods of use. The cord is very durable and yet flexible, so there are no worries when I use them for active projects. I doubt this set will ever fail or wear out, but if they did, I would definitely buy them again..

Great value
Donald from NAPA, CA on 1/24/2020
These were a whim buy as I didn't read any reviews on this brand or set prior to purchasing. For the price I think these cans are very capable. Extremely comfortable and non fatiguing with nice plush non sweat inducing ear cups. The mid range and midbass are incredibly smooth no eq work necessary. I did however add some eq work the high frequencies but this may be a personal preference not shared by all. I've used these on a few multi hour plane trips while not completely able to shut out ambient noise they were a solid performer . My only gripe would be the metal hoops they are a bit annoying as they have nearly no flex or movement. The graphs were taken with room eq wizard and minidsp E.A.R.S
Pros: Well rounded smooth low end to lower midrange transition
Cons: Could use a little more sparkle, not a fan of the metal hoops
