Stock power cables sometimes have flimsy construction and shielding, so they can act like an antenna for radio-frequency interference that subtly degrades high-resolution audio and video signals — even with a power conditioner cleaning up the current coming out of your wall. This high-performance cable uses proprietary winding techniques and triple shielding to limit EMI (electromagnetic interference) so it can provide the absolute lowest noise floor for your hi-fi components.

Heavy-gauge cable construction

This cable's robust construction features heavy LC-OFC (linear-crystal oxygen-free copper) wires with PVC dielectrics to prevent any alternating-current vibration from adding noise to the signal path. The burly 12-gauge wires are silver-soldered to termination pins housed in rugged-yet-lightweight nylon plugs, for interference-free connections to your gear. Model 8P-C7 AC Power cable: The Tributaries Series 8 Model 8P-C7 AC power cable uses extremely high-grade linear crystal copper (LC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications and is designed to support low frequency 50/60Hz signals. The Series 8 Model 8P-C7 AC power cable is engineered with a unique combination of individually insulated large and medium gauge wires to form an overall 12AWG design supporting current flow and signal dynamics. The Model 8P-C7 AC power cable feature silver-soldered to Tellurium (TE) copper termination pins which mate perfectly with the new Tributaries power connectors allowing the greatest amount of contact area possible for perfect signal transfer. The Model 8P-C7 alternates the twisted layers in each multi-gauge conductor canceling all levels of magnetic distortion, while triple-shielding is employed to prevent outside noise from penetrating the signal. Tributaries' Series 8 Model 8P-C7 AC power cable will lower the noise floor without restricting audio dynamics leaving you with more of the recorded audio and video for crystal clear dynamic experience.

The Model 8P-C7 AC power cable is is terminated by a 2-pole, non-polarized C7 male connector on one end that plugs into your audio/video component and a 3-prong IEC male connector on the other end that plugs into you AC power outlet, surge-protector, or line-conditioner.
