I've had the PetSafe Ceramic Pagoda Fountain plugged in near my desk for a while now. The fountain has become our fuzzy interns' favorite place to gather and chat, much like we humans do when we meet at the water cooler. Mostly, the pooches discuss the latest developments on their favorite TV show, Game of Bones.
The Drinkwell® Ceramic Pagoda fountain is great for dogs, cats, and even lizards! Crutchfield intern Lil' Bit approves!
There are a few reasons why we all — pets and humans alike — appreciate the pagoda. First, the water circulates, so our beloved dogs get a fresh stream to drink from instead of a stale dish. Second, the classic design of the fountain looks way better than any other dish in the building. Finally, the gentle burble of running water offers a soothing soundscape for the workday.
The only way to make it better is to make it easier to control, and we figured that one out — just connect it to a smart plug!

Features
Overview: The PetSafe Drinkwell® Pagoda Pet Fountain helps keep your pet hydrated and healthy with up to 70 ounces of fresh, filtered water. The stylish ceramic fountain continuously circulates the water, and the dual waterfalls keep the water tasting fresh, so your pet will drink more. The ceramic design makes the fountain easy to clean. The Drinkwell Pagoda is recommended for cats and small dogs.
Filtering: The fountain has a replaceable activated carbon filter to remove bad tastes and odors. The foam pre-filter catches large particles such as hair and food debris before it reaches the charcoal filter. The filter should be replaced every 2-4 weeks.
Design: The Drinkwell Pagoda Pet Fountain features two drinking areas for your pet. The lower ceramic dish is approximately 3" deep and acts as a reservoir. The "pagoda" tower protrudes another 3" above the rim, and has two spouts providing free-falling streams of water for your pet. The low-voltage (12VAC) pump forces the water from the lower dish up to the top of the tower where is cascades back down to the dish.
Cleaning: The ceramic design makes the fountain easy to clean with soap and warm water. You can also place the fountain (without the pump) on the top rack of the dishwasher. It is recommended that the fountain be cleaned once a week for best results.
