Overview: The Michelin Tire Bags by Kurgo make it easy to carry and store your winter tires, and protect your clothing and car interior from grime. They also help keep your garage clean and organized. The tire bags fit most passenger vehicle tires from 22" to 31" in diameter, which comprises of about 90% of passenger tires. The package includes 4 Michelin Tire Bags.
Construction: The Michelin Tire Bags feature durable construction that will last for years. The 5-1/2" wide body of the bag is made of 600 denier polyester, while the sides are 210D ripstop nylon with a polyurethane backing. Its reinforced fabric handle makes the tire easy to carry. Each bag features a strong hook & loop closure on the outer perimeter and elastic and hook & loop on both sides to secure the bag snugly over the tire. The Tire Bags are machine washable, and can hold up to 80 pounds.
Optional Wheel Felts: The optional Wheel Felts are soft felt pads that protect tire rims from nicks and scratches. The Felts simply slide into the Tire Bags and clip into place to further protect your tires, as well as keeping tire and brake residue off your clothing and out of your vehicle interior. To fully protect 4 tires, you'll need two boxes of Wheel Felts.
Fit: The Michelin Tire Bags fit tires between 22" and 31" in diameter. To be sure, you can calculate the diameter of the tire by its size using the formula below:
W: Section Width
H: Section Height
D: Rim Diameter
Formula: (W x (2 x (H/100))/25.4) + D
Example: Width 225 / Height 55 / Rim Diameter 16
Calculation: (225 x (2 x (55/100))/25.4) + 16 = 25.74
