2024 Volkswagen Jetta
Got this as a gift for my significant others birthday after he had mentioned numerous times how he hated the beats audio in his 2024 VW GLI. It's compact, which will work perfect for him since he tends to be a pack rack in the trunk of his car. Have not installed yet BUT I think it will work great paired with the Alpine SS-SB12. Can't beat the price for an Alpine product!
Pros: Needs specific wiring.

Small size, big sound

Packs a pretty good punch for a small little amp. It's not going to blow your windows out, but it is good fill for stock audio system. Would be nice if it had high level inputs.

Overall I am pleased with the amp itself and the power it puts out, I'm happy with the way it sounds and the idea that it mounts to the back of my radio. I am however deeply disappointed in Alpine for the wiring they used for the harness, I expected better. They could've used a much better, more pliable wire especially since to mount to the back of the radio, the wiring has to turn back itself and the gauge of the wire and the thickness of the strands of wire make it nearly impossible to accomplish this without potential excess strain on the connector; in fact the first unit I received actually had wires broken at the pins.

Nice little amp

2014 Jeep Wrangler
Easy to install in my Wrangler JK. Fit under the steering wheel, I made a little plate out of a piece of aluminum I had laying around. There are a million other places it will fit and you probably don't have to make a mounting plate. I made a jumper for the factory sub (2014) so the amp would see 4 ohms. I had planned on replacing the sub but for now it's good. It wont shake other peoples doors at the red light but plenty of punch for me in a 2 door Wrangler.
Pros: Easy install Small enough to fit about anywhere Sounds great in my Jeep

Lots of power in a small package. Just can't understand why the RCA input is a male end and requires adapters, which do not come in the kit.
Pros: Great when limited on space.
Cons: Should come with adapters for RCA connections.

Fit in the dash and works great

2005 Honda Element
I was able to install it in my dash to run a small 6-3/4" Kicker subwoofer along with my Sony XAV-AX7000. Very easy to install and it gives more than enough power to that little 4 ohm sub.

Needed a small simple subwoofer amp to hide away in the trunk of this car, this was perfect!! Install was simple and it's small enough to hide almost anywhere. It's paired with a Ine-w987hd head unit. Love Alpine products!!!

2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Good little amp, Mounted on back of my iLX-407 in my Jeep TJ. Using Head unit to run my 4 speakers and this amp for the 2Ohm Kicker 6.75" in the center console at 4Ohms. It has a little more power than the speaker can handle and I have to watch the distortion depending on the song. Easy to install, produces much better sound than the factory amp.
Pros: Easy Install, good sound.
Cons: Have to pull head unit to adjust when mounted on back of iLX-407.

Sent back when ordering radio this option popped up as package special. This is for adding a subwoofer. My vehicle already had factory subwoofer.

Cons: Not plug and play. Crutchfield should have known My vehicle comes with factory subwoofer. was not needed.

Got this amp as part of the Halo Power package, and was the simplest, best bang-for-the-buck upgrade I've ever done. Standard wiring to power the amp that's perfectly matched to the sub, fed from the speaker level output to the factory sub + LOC and done. 2 hours work, of which the vast majority consisted of pulling wire and tidying it all up. That's including tuning the gain and running remote volume knob (purchased separately). Out of 20+ car audio installs, this package was the best value + result I've ever done; by far.
Pros: Factory matched components, Alpine Quality.
Cons: I feel for this level of quality, the package should've included a protective grille for the sub.
