This is exactly what I needed to protect my speaker. I'm surprised Alpine didn't include it when I purchased my speaker. After I placed it on and tightened up the ring it looked great. The subwoofer doesn't cause it to rattle at all. It makes me feel more confident to place items like groceries in my trunk.

Pricy but pretty

Way over priced for what it is, but you gotta have it to look right. Way snug fit, but be patient and work the trim ring around it while holding the grill down tight. I took a plastic shim and slid it around with the trim ring to get the ring over the the little taped edge on the grill. You'll see what I mean when you do it. You'll think it doesn't fit, but it does!

Pros: Looks awesome
