Crisp, clear and really loud! I had a regular size Alpine Type R loaded box a while back and I loved it. Now I can have the same Alpine action, in a tight space!

I use a JL audio 500/1 to drive this enclosure and it makes a whole lot of noise which I like. Nice job Alpine!!!

Sound quality is excellent. Not an SPL sub, but if you're more into quality over loudness, this is nice. I would have liked it if the huge Alpine logo on it was more stealth (black or dark grey) instead of white. Also the exposed magnet is cool, but I'd rather not attract any attention to thieves. Stealth colors would be better.

Pros: Sound quality, nice roll off.

Cons: Logos and coloring.
