About the Alpine RS-W12D2

Shallow-mount upgrade
Shallow-mount upgrade
Alpine's R-Series subwoofers are known for their high power handling and tight response. The new RS-W12D2 shallow-mount sub delivers the same quality in a speaker that'll fit where other subs won't.
Small size, big impact
Built around a solid, cast-aluminum frame, this shallow sub requires a mounting depth of less than 3.25 inches. Yet the RS-W12D2's cone excursion is the same as a regular R-Series sub, so you'll enjoy the kind of impact you expect from Alpine.
Fits into your system
This versatile sub sounds great in sealed or ported enclosures. You can wire the dual voice coils for either 1- or 4-ohm total impedance, giving you more wiring options when setting up your system. The sub handles up to 600 watts RMS (1200 watts peak) so make sure you've got a solid amp to power it.
