I have the Alpine SPR-10TW; one tweeter is not working and I wanted to try out the Alpine S-S10TW. Can I just plug and play using the crossover from the SPR-10TW?

We have not received any answers from other customers on your question. I would recommend reaching out to an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They should be able to help answer your question.

My car comes with a tweeter setup with mounting and wires but no tweeter if I install these do I need an amp or will they work off the factory radio?
anthony santiag  Jun 17, 2021

They should work fine off the factory radio. If you add an amp, you would want to amp the tweeters, and the woofer in your door off the same amp.
david  Jun 30, 2021
You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with your factory system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see if this will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Why are my tweeters scratchy and not clear?

When i installed these tweeters, i set the gain on the amp low and set the fade on the head unit to these speakers at 50% volume and adjusted the gain on the amp until theygot distorted then backed it off a bit, I don't remember how much though. They sound good for my application.
