Range is no issue with Omega's Linkr-LT2. It lets you use your smartphone or Apple Watch to control your vehicle's aftermarket security or remote start system from anywhere you have cell service or a Wi-Fi Internet connection. In addition to starting and stopping the engine, you'll also be able to lock and unlock the doors, check the battery voltage, locate the vehicle via GPS, plus program up to three more functions like popping the trunk, lowering windows, or turning on the defroster if your system supports such functions. With compatible systems, your smartphone's display will let you monitor engine run time, cabin temperature, and current locked/unlocked status
Hardware, software, and service plan
The Linkr-LT2 interface works in almost any vehicle, and is compatible with most aftermarket remote start systems. After installing the module and downloading the Linkr-LT app to your iOS or Android phone or Apple Watch, you'll be able to control your car's functions by way of the Linkr-LT service plan over your compatible cellular network. The first year of service is free. After that, it's $39.95 a year.
Can also stand alone as a GPS locator

Overview: The Omega Linkr-LT2 is a smartphone vehicle control and tracking interface that lets you control and monitor your compatible remote start system (sold separately) from your smartphone, anywhere you have cell service or a Wi-Fi internet connection. The Linkr-LT2 even lets you control multiple vehicle systems from one app.
Service Plan: The Linkr-LT2 communicates via your compatible cell network and requires a Linkr-LT service plan, with the first year of service free ($39.95 per year thereafter).
Control Options: The easy-to-use Linkr-LT app, available for Apple iOS and Android, lets you control and monitor your compatible remote start system, with the following options:
- Engine Start/Stop
- Activate Runtime Extender
- Lock/Unlock vehicle doors
- Activate a Trunk Release or other Auxiliary function
- Alarm trigger alert

Note: Individual control options will depend on your remote start's connected/programmed features.
GPS: Built-in GPS lets you locate your vehicle virtually anywhere. The Linkr-LT app can display your location via an on-screen map. The Linkr-LT2 can be hardwired into your vehicle, without a remote start system, providing only GPS tracking of your vehicle. The Linkr-LT2 module must be installed in the vehicle with the serial# sticker facing down and at least 3" away from any metal surfaces, for adequate GPS communication.
Compatibility: The Omega Linkr-LT2 is compatible with the following brands/models of remote start systems:
- Excalibur 70 Series (requires v1.4 firmware or higher)

Installation: The Linkr-LT2 includes harnesses for plugging directly into your remote start system's data port. This provides communication along with power and ground for the Linkr-LT2 module. Depending on the remote start system interfaced, power and ground wires may need to be connected directly to the vehicle's electrical system. Hardwiring into the vehicle will be required, if using the Linkr-LT2 as a stand-alone GPS tracker.
