Start your car via Bluetooth

Plug the Omega Linkr-MBT module into a compatible aftermarket remote start system data port and you can use your smartphone or Apple Watch to control your vehicle's aftermarket security or remote start system from anywhere you have a Bluetooth connection — usually within about 300 feet. In addition to starting and stopping the engine, you'll also be able to lock and unlock the doors, check the battery voltage, plus program up to three more functions like popping the trunk, lowering windows, or turning on the defroster if your system supports such functions. With compatible systems, your smartphone's display will let you monitor engine run time, cabin temperature, and current locked/unlocked status

Program your system

The Linkr-MBT also lets you adjust the settings in your remote starter's menu, update its firmware, and take advantage of free remote diagnostic services from Omega if needed.

No service plan required

The Linkr-MBT interface works in almost any vehicle and is compatible with Excalibur aftermarket remote start systems. After installing the module and downloading the Linkr-LT app to your iOS or Android phone or Apple Watch, you'll be able to control your car's functions through the Bluetooth wireless connection.

Features

Overview: The Omega Linkr-MBT lets you control your compatible Excalibur remote start system (sold separately) from your smartphone, with no service fees required. Using a Bluetooth connection, the Linkr-MBT can communicate with your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, even when "off-grid", with a range of up to 300 feet. You can even add and delete additional users to your account (provides control functions only).

Note: The Linkr-MBT is not compatible with RF remote extender kits.

Control & Programming Options: All control and programming functions for the Linkr-MBT are made using the Linkr Mobile app, available for Apple iOS and Android, and your compatible smartphone. The Linkr-MBT provides 2-way communication with your smartphone, letting you send commands as well as receive status confirmations. Functions include:

Engine Start/Stop
Monitor engine runtime and activate Runtime Extender
Lock/Unlock vehicle doors
Activate a Trunk Release, Window Roll-Up module, or other Auxiliary function
Receive cabin temperature status and control heating/air conditioning
Program remote start system options from your smartphone with compatible brand/models of remote start systems
Update the system firmware

Compatible Remote Start Systems: The Omega Linkr-MBT is designed for use with Omega Excalibur 70 Series remote start systems (requires firmware v1.6 or higher).

Controls & Connections: The Omega Linkr-MBT features a 4-pin data port for connection to your remote start system. A second 4-pin port provides a pass-through for connecting addtional accessories. A Paring button and corresponding Status LED are provided for pairing your compatible smartphone.
