This is one gorgeous entertainment center that is solidly built. It is all built around a modular aluminum-extruded frame and is made with high quality materials from the cabinet and doors down to the hardware. The hinges look like something they would use on the space shuttle and even the adjustable shelf supports look like precision-crafted pieces. In case the cost of entry wasn't enough, Salamander Designs also offers a staggering number of accessories that integrate with the cabinet seamlessly. It is also incredibly easy to use where the back has removable panels giving you complete unfettered access to all your million ports, plugs, and terminals. The panels themselves have generous cut-outs for cord entry and ventilation (the bottom panels have grates for bringing cool air in from the bottom). I know this will last forever...my only hope is that it stays in style for just as long.

Pros: - It looks GREAT - Built like a tank - Extremely well engineered - Thoughtful design - Customizable

Cons: - Expensive but for a truly functional piece of furniture, you get what you pay for - Heavy! Be sure you have at least 2 people to maneuver it and maybe 3 or 4 if it needs to go up any stairs.
