Pretty good cabinet.

Shopped pretty extensively for a quality cabinet that not only looks good but is large enough for all of my components. Originally was going to go with the more basic cabinet without doors or sides. Finally decided to spend a bit more and get this one. Some things I like about it, some things not so much. First of all it's quite expensive. But, since this was going in a dedicated theater room and I've already spent a lot on components, TV, paint, etc. I didn't really want to skimp on the cabinet. It's very heavy. 330 lbs. shipped on a 6' long pallet. Everything was boxed great and secured to the pallet. No issues there. Assembly is pretty straightforward although some parts of the instructions could be a little better. While it's nice that the shelves can be put at any level it's quite time-consuming getting them perfect and level. Also, the cabinet had to be "tweaked" in a couple of areas to get the shelves in place. Basically, a bit of force on the extruded aluminum posts. The included templates for mounting the rear panels was pretty much useless. Holes were nowhere even close to the panel holes. No big deal though as I eventually just removed the panels as I needed the extra depth for my components. They fit but once all connections were made they were tight against the panels and the doors barely closed. I'll probably just leave them off but should I choose to remount them I'll need to trim 4-5 inches off the bottom. Ran of room here. Overall I'd give it a A-

Pros: Quality cabinet, solid and sturdy, looks great, lots of room for components (width and height), like the screen on doors vs. glass, like that the shelves are composite (not wood) so they're more durable, well packaged for shipping

Cons: Expensive, don't care for the back panel(s) design, depth for components should be deeper, shelf adjustment tedious, included templates not usable, plenty of spare parts and tools
