This was exactly what I was looking for. Holds all my equipment while taking not taking up a lot of space, truly blends into my sound stage and looks great doing it ??
Pros: -Great looks -Glass top and doors add class and elegance -Partial assembly was a easy -Plenty of room for equipment
Cons: -Expensive -Placement and setup NOT included with expensive purchase price -Took almost 3 weeks for delivery

Modular setup for heavy customization with beautiful aesthetic

Looking for low profile and dark console unit with heavily customized configuration. This fit the bill perfectly and appreciated the smoked glass aesthetic that matched my TV. The accessory options really let me configure to my needs- from lighting, shelving/drawer config, cooling, and even height (legs). Automatic and relatively quiet fan cooling option with thermometer really useful complementing under and rear ventilation protecting systems while having a "closed unit" look. Very pleased with the modular approach that allowed me to customize exactly to my needs of height, storage, and cooling/power needs.
Pros: Deep accessory options covering height/mounting, cooling, wiring/power, and storage shelving. Different exterior choices for Salamander/chameleon system great to further tailor to aesthetic needs as well. Solidly built and appreciate Oslo's glass/smoke glass look.
Cons: Some assembly required, especially if you customize. Heavy if you get larger units & may need more than one person.

Excellent product, but delivery was not what I was told

The cabinet itself is excellent - well built and very sturdy, definitely high end materials and finish! What prevented me from giving it 5 stars is the delivery to my house. I was informed by Crutchfield sales that they would deliver this to my front door. When the delivery guy showed up, he told me he was only contracted to leave the wooden crate and box at the curb. Given that the crate and box were over 300 pounds, there was no way I could take delivery with it dropped at the curb. Note, my driveway is 30 yards uphill and an additional nine steps up to the front door. With my help, he agreed to dolly it to my garage -where I was able to carry it into house only by removing the cabinet doors from the cabinet frame (everything else already comes unassembled) to make each piece as light as possible, and carry each piece into the house separately. The cabinet doors can be easily removed, but when I put them back on, it was extremely difficult to get them to align correctly. It took me over 2 hours to finally get them completely aligned. I also ordered the Saturn wheels that are compatible with this product. Given the weight of the cabinet, the wheels should be the default "feet" for this product, not an extra charge add-on, given that the default square block "feet" make it impossible to move around to connect up my AV equipment.

Great piece of furniture! Very well made, truly designed for use with AV components, and a great contemporary look. Came in less than a week and was packed well - no issues. Heavy, but two people can move it fine.
