Haven't screwed them on yet, wish they came with instructions and a couple more Velcro straps being there's 3 bars

Excellent product. Works very well with Salamander Synergy system. Comes with drop-in hardware. You don't need to disassemble your Synergy rack to install these. That said, there are two downsides. First, it comes with no instructions. That problem was easily solved by a call to Salamander Designs who emailed me a couple of pictures of the installation. The pictures should really be posted on the product listing or included with the item. Second, the product is way overpriced for three painted or anodized metal bars. I have a Synergy rack that requires 5 lacing bars. This item only includes three. Now I have to buy another one of this item.

Pros: Easy to install. Works without rack disassembly.

Cons: Overpriced for what it is. Should include 5-6 lacing bars for this price. For those who have the older style flat plastic rear cover for the synergy rack, these lacing bars would interfere with the rear cover. The product listing should better illustrate the installation and make this clear. Salamander Designs should also make a vertical lacing bar that attaches to these horizontal bars. I have ordered a Chief LCS-W1-20 vertical lacing bar for use with these horizontal bars.
