Features
Overview: The PAC AAi-CHY Audio Input Interface allows direct input of any preamp level audio source to select Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep factory radios. The AAi-CHY interface features two stereo RCA inputs so you can input sources such as DVD, VCP, MP3 satellite or video games. The factory radio allows you to switch between inputs.
Note: This interface only supports audio playback of your external portable device. The interface does not allow for any control of the auxiliary sources you have connected.
Compatibility: The AAi-CHY Auxiliary Audio Input Interface supports select 2005 and up Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep factory radios. The AAi-CHY is compatible with the following factory radio models - REC, REF, RAQ and RAK. The Audio Input Interface works with or without factory installed satellite radio by emulating factory VES (Video Entertainment System). If your vehicle has both factory satellite radio and VES (Video Entertainment System) one of them must be disconnected at the device. This interface will emulate the device that is disconnected. If your factory radio has a single disc CD and satellite radio (REF model), the factory satellite receiver must be disconnected.
Installation: The factory radio must be removed and the AAi-CHY interface plugs into the back of the factory radio. The AAi-CHY plugs into either the satellite radio or VES input, depending on which one is not in use or which one you want to disconnect. The interface features two pairs of stereo RCA inputs for connecting your external portable audio sources.
Level Control: The AAi-CHY is equipped with gain controls on top of the interface to allow you to adjust the audio level of your sources connected to the factory radio to match the output level of your vehicle's factory sources.

Works great! I did have to reset it once, after about 6 weeks (meaning I had to take apart the dash to disconnect the unit for a minute, then plug it back in and put everything back together), but hopefully that was a one time fluke.
