No way to judge with door panel on how much to cut off it's just a guess! Old school knuckle buster here. stinger should hire qualified people to go to junk yards and pull apart panels to find true measurements to make it easier for first timers. Do a better job cutting! Makes a difference for sure though and don't skip this process, with a little know how and precision cutting these will kill out vibrations and focus speakers energy into the cab.
Pros: Works good if you know what your doing .

Must have for improving sound

These are amazing! I added them to my 2015 Ford F-250, and they made a huge difference. I upgraded the speakers while still using the factory head unit, and the sound quality improved drastically. They were very easy to work with, though I did need to do some minor trimming on the driver and passenger doors to ensure they didn't interfere with the window operation. I definitely recommend these-they work much better than the knockoff kits you can get from another retailer. I had used them before, but I'll be swapping out my wife's car with these instead.

Stinger Roadkill

Installed them when I replaced my factory speakers. I had the new speakers in for a couple days and now with the Stinger Roadkill it made the sound more focused and enhanced the mid bass. It has a little more punch in the mid bass range that wasn't there prior. Take your time when installing the Roadkill and when putting your panels back on. For the price it was well worth it

Dont waste your money

These are crap, dont waste your money and crutchfield you should STOP selling these cause it gives you a bad name for having them. I dont know if they were old frail and brittle, rather difficult taking them apart first one i used tore from inside rings foam was stuck to bigger foam. Dont hear any difference either.

Cons: Thinner rings tears easily. Adhesive not strong enough.

I can't believe the deference it made. The adhesive on it is really good so be careful once the backing paper is off.

Clearer without the buzz and pluck

These rings make the sound clearer and richer by giving a warmth to the sound and preventing the buzz found in door speakers. They also decrease the "pluck" when hitting the lower bass range. VERY much worth the extra cost when installing door speakers when one wants a great sounding speaker!

2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty
I bought these with my new jbl 6x8. I don't know if they really made a difference as far as the sound in my truck. The Crutchfield technician recommended them because I wanted to get rid of the road noise. In the same fashion if they helped my speakers or not I'm not sure. Because of my tight schedule I installed it all at the same time, speakers and roadkill. I did notice that with my doors closed and the radio blasting I don't here as much sound as when I had my stock speakers with out the road kill. So I don't doubt that they did make a difference.
Pros: I'm sure I don't bother the people on the outside of my truck with whatever I'm jamming or listening to. Or even if I'm on my phone having a personal conversation, don't want ease droppers. I'm sure you've passed by vehicles when others are on the phone having a conversation as I have, it could be very loud and disruptive. I can safely say these definitely keep the sound in my vehicle.
Cons: I did have to trim these down to size and even make them a little wider.

Needs instructions. You buy the product and all the is the the bag it comes in with its name a an image of where they go. You open it and realize it's all oversized. The one that goes to the back of the speaker needs to be cut or that the window can go all the way down the. Rail or it will pull your speaker wire and disconnect the speaker. Yes you can tell a difference in sound. There is more depth and clarity.

Cons: Needs clarity on instruction per vehicle.
