PAC RP3-GM13 Wiring Interface
Jeff from Chatham, IL on 4/6/2024
2003 Pontiac Bonneville
I initially ordered the wrong interface and Crutchfield rapidly exchanged it. To get sound with the new interface I didn't use pin A6.

Not bad, add'l adapters req'd for SWI CP2
Ryan from Valencia, CA on 12/16/2023
2004 Buick LeSabre
Not too cumbersome, but apparently its firmware needs to be updated to ""version #2"" to be usable with PAC SWI CP2 steering wheel control adapter, using a $50 adapter that Crutchfield doesn't sell. Without updating, my volume and seek steering wheel buttons still worked so I didn't bother.

Wake Forest
Tony from Wake Forest on 1/10/2023

Installed in 2003 Buick LeSabre. Works fine for radio install, but NOT compatible with SWI-CP2 for steering wheel controls. The instructions from PAC say "when using this SWC output connector, the radio SWC interface must be programmed for version 2" which is vague, and nowhere in any of their documentation for SWI-CP2 is there anything resembling "program for version 2". I did find that there are firmware versions for RP3-GM13 v1.1.7.1 (as shipped) and v1.1.7.2 with release notes saying "add support for SWI-CP2". Unfortunately, in order to update firmware on RP3-GM13 you need their $50 PAC-UP module which nobody seems to carry anyway.
Pros: Easy to install, especially with Crutchfield's custom wiring guide, as long as you can crimp and/or solder wires together. As another review said, it has the connector to plug into the car, which you definitely need.
Cons: Doesn't work with SWI-CP2 for steering wheel controls out of the box (MAY work with firmware update which requires extra $ hardware)

PAC RP3-GM13 Wiring Interface
Crutchfield customer from Stratford, CT on 11/8/2022
Does not fully work with a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville. I had to explain to the tech I had on the phone for hours on the blue is suppose to be the Amp switch. He kept saying no. I power it up and poof music is now heard.

Was given the wrong version at purchase, have had 2 others sent that still are not the right version to run my steering wheel controls. Have spent the last month talking to countless people to get right version.

PAC RP3-GM13 Wiring Interface
Crutchfield customer from Newnan, GA on 1/12/2020

This interface may work as advertised but comes without a useable wiring diagram. I read forums and scoured YouTube to find what wires went where to no avail. I was able to use the large bus connector for power to my head unit and to power the bose amp but thats it. I cut the rest of the harness out and trashed it. I now have no chimes but don't care. The steering wheel control interface that came with my purchase was of a different brand and not compatible with this unit so I wired that seperately and it works fine. I've wired many car stereos over the years but none with a bus connector. I do have knowledge of electronics and how to use a multimeter, which is how I was able to figure out what had 12v, etc. This was installed in a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. I gave 2 stars because I was able to use part of this interface.
Pros: Has bus connector, without it you got nothing.
Cons: No useable wiring diagram for my application.

Wrong interface for this application
Toby from Graham, WA on 8/17/2018
2000 Pontiac Bonneville
This was totally the wrong interface for my application. It lacked the necessary wire and pin to turn on the amplifier so that I could get sound out of my 2000 Bonneville SSEi with the Bose system. Save yourself the trouble and buy an Axxess GMOS-09 harness. It has the correct wiring and pins for the 2000-01 Bonneville SSEi.
Pros: It might work in the correct vehicle.
Cons: This was the wrong harness for my application.
