Features

Radio Replacement Interface (for Nissan): The PAC RadioPRO RP4-NI11 radio replacement interface is designed for select 2013-2016 Nissan vehicles with MSCAN databus factory radios. The RP4-NI11 enables installation of an aftermarket radio while retaining the factory steering wheel control functions, as well as maintaining compatibility with the factory installed amplified audio system and factory installed backup camera.

Vehicle Compatibility: The RadioPRO RP4-NI11 is compatible with the following 2013-2016 Nissan vehicles with MSCAN databus factory radios:

Make Model Year
Nissan Altima 2013-2016
Murano 2015-2016
Rogue 2014-2016
Notes:
  • The RP4-NI11 does not retain the 360 camera system.
  • On 2015-up Nissan Murano vehicles, you must make sure to use revision 5.1.4 or higher. The "OK" button on the SWC will not be retained by the RP4-NI11.
  • On 2014-2015 Nissan Rogue vehicles, the RP4-NI11 is only compatible with SV and SL trim levels.
  • On some 2014-up Nissan Rogue vehicles, it may be necessary to find an alternate accessory +12V wire, if the interface and aftermarket radio are not powering up (see Installation Instructions).
  • Base model vehicles may not have a factory ground wire. In these vehicles you may need to manually ground the aftermarket radio and RP4-NI11 to the vehicle's metal chassis.

For Amplified & Non-Amplified Systems: The PAC RP4-NI11 can be used in vehicles with amplified & non-amplified factory audio systems. The RP4-NI11 will retain your Nissan vehicle's factory Bose amplified audio system with balance and fader control. An aftermarket receiver with 2V to 4V preouts is recommended when retaining the factory Bose amplified system.

Programmable SWC: The interface comes pre-programmed for all of the vehicle's factory SWC functions and does not require programming, unless you wish to re-assign the SWC functions to different buttons or create secondary functions. The SWC functions can be easily programmed; see default SWC button assignments in the included Installation Instructions. The interface retains programming even if your vehicle's battery is disconnected. The SWC harness contains a Blue/Yellow wire and a 3.5mm connector. You will only use one of the connectors, based on your type of aftermarket radio.

  • Blue/Yellow Wire: The Blue/Yellow wire supports Kenwood and newer JVC receivers.
  • 3.5mm Jack: The 3.5mm jack supports Alpine, Jensen, Older JVC, Clarion, Pioneer, Sony, and Dual/Axxera radios.

Note: The radio selection dial on the side of the interface must be adjusted to the proper radio setting before plugging the interface into the vehicle. The RP4-NI11 is compatible with Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Clarion, Pioneer, Sony, Jensen, Dual/Axxera, and other aftermarket radios (see Installation Instructions for appropriate dip-switch setting).

Factory Backup Camera: The PAC RP4-NI11 will retain your Nissan vehicle's factory installed backup camera (if equipped). Your aftermarket in-dash receiver must be equipped with a camera input consisiting of a composite video jack, as well as a built-in video screen.

Note: If you wish to retain the factory installed backup camera in 2014-2015 Nissan vehicles equipped with factory navigation and Bose audio system, you must solder a video RCA cable into the factory wires at the ITS module. The ITS module can be found by removing the plastic panel in the passenger footwell that is connected to the center console (see Installation Instructions for futher details).

Navigation Outputs: The PAC radio replacement interface provides wired outputs for navigation radio installation; including a VSS (vehicle speed sense) and a Reverse Gear output to make installing an aftermarket navigation head unit simpler and less time consuming.

Q
does this harness work with Generic double DIN andriod stereo?
anwar  Feb 13, 2025
1 answer
A
Hey Mohamed, yes, this harness can work with a generic double-DIN stereo. Assuming this is going into a compatible Nissan vehicle with the Bose Audio system in it, the stereo will need to also have at least 4ch worth of pre-amp outputs so it can wire directly to the Bose Amp. For details on installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on what you will need for an installation and ensure that harness will work for you.

My A/C control unit doesn't want to work with the aftermarket stereo and harness. If I connect the OEM radio back it works just fine. Everything else on the radio works just fine. What could be the cause for this?

At the bottom of the factory radio brackets there is a white ac amp module that has to be in removed and installed with the new Metra 95-7617GHG dash kit you'll be using to install the new radio. On page 2 and 3 of this manual it will show you how to remove the module from factory assembly and install with new Metra kit: https://pdf.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageBank/v20130905175500/Manuals/120/120957617G_DL.PDF If you still need help and bought this from Crutchfield you can find our Tech Support phone number on your invoice, custom instruction sheet, of by logging into your account and accessing the "Orders" tab.

The A/C control unit doesn't work when I have the aftermarket radio installed but when i connect the OEM radio it works just fine. What could be the issue?

Hard to answer there Homero, since I have no idea what vehicle you have or radio, etc. We do offer lifetime Technical Support on all purchases, so we really can only help support packages that we sell and know work well. Just guessing here, but it sounds like you have a vehicle that needs to use an Idatalink radio and install kit with a Maestro unit in the link below. These need to be "flashed" before install, and for modern vehicles sometimes these are necessary to keep advanced features like HVAC with integrated newer OEM radios when you change the radio. Give us a call at 1-800-324-9695 and we can take a look specifically at your exact vehicle, and see the best way to fix your issue! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_794ADSMRR/iDatalink-Maestro-RR-Interface-Module.html

Q
I have a 2017 Nissan Rogue purchased the RP4-Nl11 interface. But Iâ??m not seeing the wires for speakers do I need to purchase the stereo harness separately?
chris  Aug 02, 2022

A
That interface is a complete set up so as long as you have everything pictured then you should have the harness for the speaker wire. It might be easier to give us a call at 800.324.9695 to speak with an advisor so we can narrow down exactly what you should be looking for.

Q
I have a 2018 Nissan Altima sv. Been searching for the proper wiring harness for it. Every where I look points me to a wiring harness that dose not seem right. There are 5 connectors that plug into the radio but the wiring harness I keep finding only have one connector and I canâ??t find a straight answer. Is this the proper harness to link from the factory plugs to an after market radio????
