Really convenient little device! I wanted to take advantage of HDMI ARC with an existing 2.1 system I had, and this allowed just that. Sound quality ended up being an upgrade over the previous receiver I was using with the same speakers as well, probably due to the Bass and Treble settings it has. I didn't have need to hide it away, but I still appreciate the size and ability to do so if needed down the road. I'm very happy with it.

Pros: Great sound, easy setup

Cons: I understand it's meant to be tucked away, but a built in IR receiver and small LCD display would be nice for those of us who don't need to

Great addition for my TV audio!

I have never used soundbars so I was curious if this would work for my application and it works fantastic. I am using this little amp to power my front speakers for my living room TV. I ran an EARC HDMI cable from the ARC HDMI port (3) of my Sony Bravia TV and connected it to this little amp. And it works like magic. No worry about turning it on or off independently, it does that on its own. Power is more than sufficient for my 4 Ohm 825 tower speakers. This unit is also very small so you can tuck it away - I put mine on a shelf of our end table. Hides away perfectly.
