Wall-Mounted Touchscreen: The Russound XTS7 Wall-Mounted Touchscreen is a stylish in-wall 7" touchscreen that's pre-loaded with the Russound App for controlling your compatible Russound audio system. Using the Android operating system, the XTS7 lets you run a wide variety of apps from the Google Play Store, including apps for controlling your smart home devices such as lights, shades, screens, etc.

Powerful Cortex-A53 Quad-Core Processor: The Russound XTS7 Touchscreen utilizes a powerful Cortex-A53 quad-core processor for optimum performance.

7" TFT Touchscreen: The XTS7 uses a high performance 7" TFT LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 800 x 1280 (16.7 million colors). The XTS7 display also features projected capacitive technology, the latest touch technology used in smartphones and tablets, enhancing the XTS7 with a quicker response time, high durability, and excellent optical performance. The capacitive touchscreen provides simple and fast control, as well as metadata feedback from compatible sources - including artist name, song titles, album titles, & album art.

Controls: From the XTS7 Touchscreen, you can select between Russound XStream compatible streaming music sources (including Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM, TuneIn, vTuner, & DLNA). From the XTS7 you can also create, edit or delete any favorites. In addition, the wall-mounted touchscreen offers playback and search functions for your music sources, as well as song/artist information and album art.

Network Connectivity:

• Wired: The XTS7 Touchscreen features an Ethernet (RJ-45) jack that connects to your network router rather than your Russound system. The XTS uses a dynamic DHCP network address.  If a more permanent IP address is required, use a DHCP reservation for the XTS7 in your router configuration.
• Wireless: The XTS7 is 802.11 b/g/n compatible and features an integrated 2.4GHz WiFi antenna for a wireless connection to your network. If installing in a wireless configuration without an ethernet connection, a 12VDC/1A power supply will be requried (sold separately).

Storage Space: The Russound XTS7 features 16GB of internal storage space for apps (11.4GB available). A microSD card slot lets you expand the amount of storage, using an optional microSD card up to 256GB (sold separately). The XTS7 also features 2GB of RAM storage, as well.

Power Requirements: Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows the XTS7 to receive power over the same Ethernet connection used for communication, requiring only one CAT-5/6 cable run. In order to take advantage of PoE, the XTS must be connected to a network switch that can provide PoE, or to a PoE power injector.

Mounting Options: The Russound XTS7 Touchscreen features an elegant, low-profile design that installs easily in a 1-gang box or low profile p-ring (both sold separately). It extends from the wall only 0.62" when installed. The XTS7 is designed to be installed in a landscape (horizontal) orientation.

Firmware Updates: The XTS7 makes it easy to keep the touchscreen interface up-to-date with the latest version of the Russound app by performing a simple over-the-network update from the settings menu.

USB: A microUSB port on the bottom edge of the XTS7 touchscreen is currently not used.
