2021 Ford Mustang
Night and day difference in a B&O mustang GTY system. I added poly fill as well. You do not have to Dremel anything, but you will need some 1"x1" expanding foam strip to put between the sub and the box and longer screws than oem (about 1" longer same thread pitch). I used stock holes in the enclosure and speaker grill that I notched in a couple places.

Great sub and great for tight places.
Pros: Great sound from a shallow sub
Cons: Just keep in mind that this sub has tabs that stick out further than a standard ring would so if you are recessing your woofer and there isn't enough room that may be an issue. In my instance it is a Skar prefab box for a 2023 Tacoma and the sub doesn't sit flat if you put it in in standard config, you'll need to clock it 5* or so. Not a big deal in my case.

2023 Mustang B&O replacement

Put in a 2023 Mustang to replace the factory B&O SUB. Fit in the OEM enclosure with a little cutting. Lined the inside of the box with sound deadener and fiber fill. Very tight and great tone. Hooked up as a 2ohm load to Kicker 46CXA660.5T. Lots of power!!! Used the optional bass knob, which helps a ton.

It sounds great, I would argue the best sounding flat on the market. However, the quality is poor to say the least. I had a cheap kicker in this same box with no issues but it didn't sound all that good. So I upgraded to the P3 knowing rockford is a great brand and the rest of my setup is rockford as well. I've had this P3 about 3 months tops. well yesterday I heard some rattling, I thought it was just the trunk lid. Then I go in the trunk and find this mess. It's paper thin.....

This subwoofer is amazing. I installed it in a custom sealed box .7 cubic ft under my back seat. I'm running 300 watts to it and it's amazing! Definitely fills in all the gaps to my premium system. I would highly recommend it!

Excellent Sub for Limited Space Applications

Installed 2 of these in a sealed custom box under the rear seat of my 2021 Chevy Colorado. Powered by RF Prime 1200 amp. The rest is factory stock Bose Premium 7 speaker system. These subs, as with most shallow mounts in a sealed box , provide tight and accurate bass that, in my application, really takes the factory Bose system and makes it sound closer to what it should have been to begin with. So far, I am very pleased with the upgrade and the quality of these subs. Time will tell how well they hold up, but so far, so good.
Pros: Excellent sound for those who want tight accurate (not boomy) bass.
Cons: A bit on the pricey side. Be careful with the trim rings, as they have very sharp edges.

2003 Ford F-150
Have it in a sealed box under the seat of my Ford F-150. Running everything with a pioneer 5 channel amp. Sub sounds great. Clean hits hard. Highly recommended.

Incredible performance for a shallow sub. I have it set up to 1ohm and let me tell I not only have I squeezed every once of power of my amp in to the speakers but the have been able to handle heavy thumping bass .

2006 Pontiac Vibe
I was running JVC double din with 2 pair of RF 6 3/4" 3 ways (great sound for the $) in the doors of of '06 Vibe (OEM Monsoon system). 3 ways & OEM sub in rear deck powered by OEM amp. Then added SO "8 powered sub I put under drivers seat which added some great bass (see pic). This really provided enough all around quality sound... but then I acquired a Kicker 300.1 mono amp. What's a guy to do with a sub amp and no sub??? I figured I've gone this far so why not. I didn't want to give up a lot of space. After much research including watching some videos on RF website I went with the P3SD4-10 and put it in a Rockville RST S10 Shallow Sealed box. When I 1st hooked it up I barely got anything. BUT when I reversed the phase OGM!!! it came alive. We Will Rock You by Queen never sounded so good. I'm no audiophile but I do know what I like. Love love love what this adds sub. To me anyway, it can hit hard and run deep when it's supposed to. I have the remotes for both subs in easy reach for extra control.I have ordered the grille for a little extra protection. FYI- Everything was purchased from Crutchfield save the Kicker amp & box. I could have gotten the P3SD4-10 a little cheaper but out of loyalty to Cruchfield for their outstanding business practices & the confidence I have gained in dealing with them I wanted to give them more of my business. Will be coming back to Crutchfield when it's time to upgrade home system.
Pros: RF quality, shallow yet great output, easy to hook with multiple options outlined in instructions, sounds better the longer I have it.

Poorly made

2010 Ford F-150 XLT
These things are trash. I bought one as part of a full system and had everything professionally wired in. The first one blew in a week so I had Crutchfield send me another. I babied the second I never even turned it up other than to get it tuned. Once again it blew in a little over a week. I took it to the shop thinking there was something wrong with the wiring. They assured me there wasn't anything wrong. Still being sceptical I took it to 2 other shops and they to could not find a wiring issue. Just a poorly made subwoofer that couldn't even stand up to light use. I'm getting my money back and going with something with some quality. I suggest you do the same.

This went into a 2014 Toyota Tundra Crewmax, so there wasn't much room. I put one of these in a custom made box where the stock box was. Nice bass for such a small area. Sounds good with volume low and turned up.

Very affordable sub for the quality you get.
Pros: Highs and mids are super clear and sound fantastic. It's a very solid sub compared to most shallow mounts and you can just tell that is weighs more and that's what I love about them
Cons: My only complaint is that there is no low bass almost at all. You can tell that it's the but just wish is had a better presence.
