Put Rockford Fosgate sound in your car without breaking the bank. Whether you're building your first system or replacing some burned-out factory speakers, Prime component speaker systems offer clean, powerful performance that'll keep you and your friends entertained as you drive.
The Prime R152-S component system includes 5-1/4" woofers with stiff mica-injected polypropylene cones that deliver strong drums and bass, along with clean reproduction of the midrange frequencies. The separate 1" Mylar balanced dome tweeters top things off with vibrant highs that add excitement to your music without a trace of harshness. You can flush- or surface-mount the tweeters, so you can create the best possible soundstage, plus keep the installation neat. Built-in crossovers ensure a smooth audio response, so all your music plays faithfully.
Installation note: You'll need a pair of our universal backstraps to install the tweeters in the factory locations.

Features
Overview: The Rockford Fosgate Prime series Component System kits provide factory OEM replacement while still delivering authentic Rockford Fosgate sound. The Prime R152-S is a dedicated 2-way component system utilizing a Mica injected polypropylene cone and a Mylar balanced dome tweeter. An in-line crossover and multiple tweeter mounting configurations allow for easy installation.
Woofer: The Rockford Fosgate Prime R152-S utilizes a 5.25" Mica injected polypropylene cone woofer for extended frequency response and accommodates direct OEM installation. The 5.25" woofer features a foam surround and stamped steel basket.
Tweeter: The Prime R152-S features a Mylar balanced dome tweeter that reproduces crystal clear highs and smooth extended frequency response. This low distortion material allows accurate reproduction of high frequencies for an open sound stage.
Crossover: To simplify your installation the R1T-S tweeter has an integrated 6 dB/octave high-pass crossover fixed at 4,500 Hz. The 5.25" woofer has natural roll-off characteristics that allow it to exhibit great acoustic crossover filtering.
Mounting: The Rockford Fosgate Prime RS152-S's woofer features a 4-hole mounting pattern which allows it to fit in standard 5.25" speaker applications. The included 1.0" tweeters offer multiple mounting configurations. You can choose a flush mount, surface mount, or angle mount installation. You can further angle the tweeter once installed in any of the included mounts.

Great speakers. Installed two pairs into my Jeep Cherokee with Alpine head unit and an Alpine 45X4 watt amp. Installation of the speakers were quick and easy. They sound terrific. Couldn't be happier.
