About the Rockford Fosgate R1S410

Get Rockford Fosgate bass in your car without a heavy investment. Prime Series subs use rigid polypropylene cones and butyl rubber surrounds to punch out powerful deep notes. Stamped solid-steel frames ensure long life, even under heavy fire, while the aluminum voice coil formers dissipate heat efficiently when you're pushing your system hard. And these subs look as mean as they sound.
The Prime R1S410 10" sub handles up to 150 watts RMS. Rockford Fosgate optimizes Prime subs for space-saving sealed enclosures, so you can expect highly accurate low end to complement your music.

Features
Overview: The Rockford Fosgate Prime R1S410 is a 10-inch, 4-ohm single voice coil subwoofer. The Rockford Fosgate Prime subwoofer features a solid stamped steel frame, quick-release compression terminals, and a Parabolic polypropylene cone. The Prime R1S410 subwoofer is optimized for sealed enclosures.
Parabolic Polypropylene Cone Design: The Parabolic Polypropylene cone design results in solid bass reproduction.
Aluminum Voice Coils: The Rockford Fosgate Prime subwoofer uses anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide excellent heat dissipation. The woofer's aluminum voice coils keep the speaker running cool, even under demanding conditions. Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat-sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps the subwoofer cool during high SPL conditions.
Stamped Steel Basket: The R1S410 subwoofer features a stamped steel basket for added rigidity.
Compression Terminals: The Prime R1S410 features spring post terminals which accommodate up to 12 AWG speaker wire.
CEA-2031 Compliant: Power handling on the Rockford Fosgate Prime R1S410 subwoofer conforms to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means the subwoofer has the capacity to handle power under continuous demand, not instantaneous power handling, that over time, can damage voice coils.
Enclosure Compatibility
Sealed Box Volume: The sealed box sizes recommended by Rockford Fosgate range from 0.5 cu/ft to 0.85 cu/ft. The ideal recommended volume is 0.75 cu/ft.

Wow this sub hits hard. I have it in a custom box under the back seat in a 2011 GMC Sierra crew cab. It's amazing sub for the money it hits harder than my friend 12" believe me when I say buy it.
