Good low cost subs

Good low power subs for daily use. I kind of expected more low (40Hz and below) but it's not there. Could be the Sealed box I bought though. Have a 1200watt Skar amp. Way too much. I listen to a lot of hard rock(Slipknot,5FDP) and its maybe on 1/4 power to have a higher volume on the radio and using the bass control knob to try to keep float and distortion down. A great bargain on low cost just listen to system. Subs are low cost and a low cost amp will push them fine.

I read some negative comments received on this sub and I can't understand why. It's not completion bass but more than enough for me. I'm running a 250 watt(800 max) RMS 4 ohm mono amp and it's enough to move quarters across the dash. All and all I can say I would definitely purchase again. Especially from Crutchfield!

Great sound for the $$

I'm 28, been doin this a while, off and on. Bottom line, great speaker for the $$. I have it in a sealed truck box with an old school bd501 fosgate power amp pushing it. The setup sounds great! I just wanted to add a little bass back into my ride and wow i got way more than expected. Rockford fosgate speakers still sound great and crutchfield still #1 in custom service and products sold!

Very pleased

Very impressed with what I got. It performs way better than I expected and i will definitely recommend this to others. I currently have my single 12" wired at a 2ohms and it has massive punch and bass. Thank you.

Tight bass

I bought this sub to replace an MTX Thunder 4000 and right off the bat is noticeably better sound and hits a lot harder. I'm running this off of a 2 channel 1000watt Sony xplod and I will be purchasing another one of these subs soon.

Powerful and clean

I have this in my 2010 Civic sedan mated to a RF Punch 300-1 and it's wonderful. Very tight and you can feel the punch. Dynamat is a must with this kind of bass, unless sqeaks and rattles are your thing.
